EXcellent communication with the host. Any questions during our stay were very promptly answered.This nicely updated vintage home had tons of character, good mattresses and clean, nice quality, betting and towels. The kitchen was well equipped, which was really important to us. Appreciated the modern clawfoot tub. this is a vintage home with quirky corners and nice woodwork, convenient laundry in typically scary basement ;-) … would rent again and recommend it for its easy proximity to Lawrence university and the amenities of downtown/College Avenue.

Great location, very clean, fully stocked w coffee, towels, tp, paper towels. The bath has a hand held shower head which was the only thing that caught us off guard. There is a normal shower in the primary bath. Other than that great deal and location.

Comfy, Clean, and Quiet

If you are looking for a modernized, sterilized, state of the art house with zero age markers or imperfections - you will not be happy with your stay. Scroll on, this home is a historical beauty, not a cookie cutter place.If you are like me, and you LOVE Grand Old Ladies, built in the early 1900s - this place will check all of your boxes. We absolutely loved this house. She's a well-cared for Grand Dame with character, space, and comfort. (SO happy to see lots of original features - wood floors, trim, leaded windows, doors, old school radiators - she's a beautiful house.)The rooms were spacious, the beds were comfy, and it is CLEAN - like walk across the floor in white socks and they are still white - CLEAN. The property manager is responsive and easy to contact. We arrived during a winter storm, before we headed out for our morning activities, my son tried to shovel the driveway. He broke the shovel. When we returned that afternoon, the snow had been cleared and a new shovel was waiting for us.Check in was super easy. Check out was also a breeze, and the check out expectations were simple: take out the garbage, turn down the heat, start the dishwasher if you have dirty dishes, and throw your towels on the bathroom floor. Nothing to it.The neighborhood is quiet, full of other stately homes, and easily walkable.Everyone in our little group was extremely pleased with everything about our stay.

Nice place

It's a very nice place but could us a few upgrades. Maybe TV in the bedrooms. Could use some more items in the kitchen, glasses, dishes etc. Maybe some board games to play.

Yellow House Review

Very nice, comfortable house. Excellent communication and response time. After I reported a malfunctioning coffee maker, a new coffee maker was delivered within 15 minutes!
