Located on the 1st floor (without lift) of a 3-storey building (Le Silène), it has a living room with TV, double sofa bed and dining area, a sleeping area with two bunk beds, a kitchenette, a bathroom with bath and separate toilet, plus a 4 m² balcony to enjoy the warm weather in summer and winter.
The kitchen facilities include a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, electric and microwave ovens, two-burner induction hob, and fondue and raclette equipment.
In the entrance cupboard, you'll also find a washing line for your small clothes, and the accessories you need for a quick daily clean if required. On the ground floor, there's a locker for storing your skis and, in the basement, a storage box for your travel bag or suitcase, for example.
The studio is ideally located on the Pré du Bois hill, in a very quiet and pleasant environment with, at the foot of the residence, a petanque pitch, a private tennis court, as well as access to numerous hiking and cycling trails, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the Aravis mountains, a beautiful belvedere overlooking the Arve valley just a five-minute walk away and, in summer, you can even take a shady route around Mont Favy.
The resort is also close to the Aquacîme leisure centre (just 200 metres away), which has two heated outdoor pools, large lawns for relaxing with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains, a water play area for young children, a waterslide, a beach volleyball court, a snack bar, and fitness and wellness areas (indoor Zen pool, sauna, steam room and solarium).
Aquacîme is open according to the seasons of the resort: in winter from mid-December to mid-April; in summer from mid-June to mid-September; and, with its miniature golf course, during the Autumn holidays.
Just one kilometre from the residence, at an altitude of 1140 metres, you'll also discover the heart of this charming mountain village, with all the essential shops, boutiques, bars, restaurants and local markets, as well as a variety of seasonal activities.
In winter, the ski resort welcomes you for a warm and authentic experience, for families and/or sports enthusiasts, with easy access to the first slopes of Les Carroz, culminating at 2,120 m, and to the vastness of the XXL Grand Massif ski area. The lifts will be open from 13 December 2025 to 12 April 2026.
Public transport :
If you're coming by car via the A40 motorway, take exit 19 "Magland Cluses", then the D6 towards Les Carroz Flaine via the Col de Balme. At the entrance to the village, turn right immediately and follow "Les Carroz Ouest" as far as "Pré du Bois". Once you've reached your destination, you can park your car in front of the Le Silène building.
In winter, the free ski-bus shuttle (stop in front of the residence) will take you to the centre of the village and the start of the ski lifts.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Cluses, 7 km away.
- Nearest airport: Geneva International Airport, 70 km away.
