The Space:

The Nest at Arahura Escape by Tiny Away is located in Arahura Valley, New Zealand. Two kilometers from the main highway, our tiny house embraces the natural beauty of West Coast with tranquil views, gentle coastal air, and the changing colours of the sky throughout the day.



Discover nature and heritage of this New Zealand region like the Arahura River, Te Waipounamu Māori Heritage Centre, Lake Kaniere, Woodstock Rimu Forest, Hokitika Gorge, West Coast Treetop and Ross Goldfields Heritage Centre.



A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.



Guest Access:

Guests can access the tiny house and its surrounding areas, except for the land host's private residence and sheds.

This peaceful holiday homes offers a gentle balance of seclusion and accessibility, making it an ideal hideaway to slow down, unwind, and reconnect with nature.



Explore the nearby site in the region including the iconic Arahura River, renowned for its pounamu and deep Māori significance. Learn traditional jade carving at Te Waipounamu Māori Heritage Centre.



Nature lovers can enjoy tranquil walks and water activities at Lake Kaniere, wander beneath towering trees in the Woodstock Rimu Forest, or take in the striking turquoise waters of Hokitika Gorge. - BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban

- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
