Great house in Arcachon
Well-appointed house in Arcachon with a comfortable feel. A nearby bakery and grocery store made it easy to have breakfast and dinner on the patio. Pro-tip: Silverware is cleverly hidden in the island above the plates and bowls.
The house has lots of beds, more than we needed for our family of 5. Wash machine worked well, note that the house doesnt have a dryer and on some of the humid days here it took more than a day to hang dry clothing.
The property managers were very prompt and helpful when we had questions.
The location is great, about 30 min walk to the main city with Parc Mauresque along the way as a great stopping point.
The only knock about the location has less to do with the house and more about the bus system. While conveniently located within 5 min walk from the Place Maydieu station, the bus was rarely on-time and often more than 30 min late. Additionally, the bus lines don't run very late making evenings out more complicated. We recommend renting a car, bike, or being reliant on taxi's if you want to things a bit more on a schedule.
Overall, we highly recommend this house for travelers visiting Arcachon.
