We had an excellent stay. The property is in a great location for discovering all of Normandy, with lovely local restaurants and shops within walking distance.The owner, Christophe, was extremely helpful and maintained excellent communication throughout our stay.The house itself is fantastic and in great condition throughout. We were a group of seven adult men and felt there was plenty of space, with comfortable furniture, beds, and three bathrooms.The kitchen is very well equipped, with plenty of cutlery, plates, mugs, glasses, and cookware.Overall, the property is faultless and we would not hesitate to stay here again — highly recommended to anyone visiting Normandy.

Very nice location.

Very nice house. Great surroundings. Arromanches is very beautiful and to stay in this house is very nice. Bakery, a little supermarket, town and the sea very close.

Great property , located up the hill from the town within easy walking distance . Clean accommodation and a lovely property, ideal for our base for travelling to Bayeux , Caen, etc. Christophe very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Facilities were good and made for for a relaxing evening after a busy exploring day.

Amazing house at an amazing location

Our stay was great. The house was even bigger than expected, nice bedrooms for everybody in our group of 7, great long dinnertable, a perfect accomidation for a bigger group or family. With enough bad- and bathrooms too. And perfectly clean and well equipped. Location near the landing beaches and easy walk to the beach in arromanches and the stores and bakery. It was everything we were looking for.

Great Stay!

This is the second time we've stayed at this property and its been wonderful each time. The house is very clean, spacious and equipped with modern appliances. The views from the house are fantastic, the city of Arromanches and the English Channel to the north and a pasture with grazing cows to the east. We took most of our meals on the picnic table outside the kitchen. All in all it was a wonderful stay and a great jumping off place for visit to the D-Day beaches and Normandy.

Nice property

This was a well equipped property well suited to my needs for a quiet family gathering. 10mins walk from the beach and well equiped. A little unclear in description that property is on two levels. The main level has 3 rooms and living space. Lower level accessed from outside or though utility room is self contained with bedroom and small living area with sofa bed and kitchen sink. I found this setup quite suited my group.

The property owner did a good job responding to my queries. Unfortunately, I would have to rate this as a sub-par stay. Not enough towels were available and quality was substandard. Little things like kleenex not provided were bothersome. Possibly some mold present in bathrooms. Glass ware appeared stained and dishes required washing before we felt comfortable using. On the plus side the location was great for what we wanted.

D Day Bond Beach

The town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing. We learned about the history of the town thru locals. Their part in D Day was new to me. It was easy to find the house the Taxi brought us right there. There was a lock box and we had the code so entry was easy. The house was not as clean as what I like. The utensils and coffee maker were not clean but we used them. There were limited towels left and I managed to find additional ones in the basement again they were not that clean. We had a major issue with the power and it was out for the whole day. I had left a text for the Property Manager but did not hear from him. I called when we got back at night and the house was in total darkness and a security alarm was going off. The person that I talked to was unaware of the issue we were having. She spoke English and was major in calling someone who came and reset the fuses and managed after awhile to get the alarm silenced. The one major asset was the ocean view that came with the Cottage and as I already mentioned the town of Arromanches-Les-Bains was amazing and exploring it was an added adventure for our trip.

Een prima uitval basis om tijdens de herdenkingsweek van D-day alle stranden en evenementen te bezoeken. Het appartement is ruim en mooi gelegen aan de rand van het dorp met een idyllisch uitzicht over de zee. Er is een mooi museum midden in een bruisend dorpje met veel eetgelegenheden. De Irene brigade heeft zich ook dit jaar weer van haar mooie kant laten zien.

Ein gerĂ€umiges, komfortables Haus mit großem Garten in lĂ€ndlicher Umgebung und doch nah am Meer ( 5 - 10 Minuten zu Fuß). Vom Haus Meerblick. Gut ausgestattete und bestĂŒckte KĂŒche und bequem eingerichtete Wohnung mit mehreren TV-GerĂ€ten. Großes Wohnzimmer mit Esstisch und Sofalandschaft. Schlaf- und Badezimmer ok. Terrasse mit Gartenumgebung. Unsere Familie ( 3 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder 9 - 15 Jahre) haben den Aufenthalt im Ferienhaus sehr genossen - absolut zu empfehlen! Zu erwĂ€hnen ist noch die geschichtstrĂ€chtige Umgebung (Arromanches, Bayeux, Caen...)
