Disliked: Cleanliness
The rooms served the purpose but not much beyond that. The place was not cleaned before we arrived. A lot of dust, spider webs, and spiders. The host who stayed above us greeted us and was a bit over bearing everytime we came outside. We would have loved to use the outdoor space but chose to hang at our friends 40 minutes away in Waynesville. I wouldn’t stay again.

Great location, clean and dog friendly

We had an excellent stay at Alina's place. Close to the University (with a wonderful Saturday farmer's market) and close to downtown. Large, comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The house was very clean and the kitchenette served all our needs. Alina had thoughtful touches with breakfast items, coffee and filtered water. While there is no living room, there is plenty of outdoor space to sit and gather. We would definitely stay again!

A good stay

Myself, my new wife, and my two dogs stayed here for our honeymoon. It was very clean and seemed like it had been newly updated. The location was good and it was very easy to get to everywhere we wanted to go very quickly. We were disappointed to learn that there was no hot tub as advertised, which was the primary reason that we booked this specific place. We also had looked forward to using the fenced in area for our dogs to run and play off leash, but since it was connected to the upstairs unit by stairs and there was no gate cutting off access while we were in there, so we were hesitant to use it since the person staying in that unit had dogs as well and we didn’t want to risk anything. We were aware there was an upstairs unit, however we got a little unlucky that the person staying upstairs was rather noisy and had very heavy footsteps. Their two small dogs also barked.. a lot. This is at no fault to the property owner, just something to consider when booking. Overall, we enjoyed our visit but probably would not have booked had we not known about the lack of hot tub and lack of easy access to the fenced yard.

Safe, Clean & Convenient

Safe, Clean and convenient to Asheville restaurants and the Broad River walks. She allowed my pets. She communicated well once I arrived. No kitchen. Only a small fridge in the hallway.
