Loved the breakfast basket delivered outside our room each morning. We ate it in the room and also took the basket down to the beautiful lobby one morning. I found the lobby so beautiful and inviting we wanted to enjoy some time there too. The entire staff was very friendly and the parking attendants were AWESOME, very friendly, helpful, and quick…great group of guys!

Everything about this stay was wonderful! Great staff, beautiful lobby/library, awesome room with view of the park, nice complimentary evening reception, availability of a local shuttle, quality room amenities and tasty continental breakfast and in-room coffee. Loved it all!

The rooms are well appointed and the beds are comfortable. My main issues were that the road noise is very loud. Because the building is old and brick there isn’t much insulation. Every loud muffler we heard. Every time the fire department close by turned on their sirens it sounded like it was in the room. We heard the old couple next to us talking as well. We heard every detail of their conversations. The tv was cranked way up until 11:30pm both nights we were there so we had to wait to go to sleep when they did. It wasn’t their fault I just think they were old and hard of hearing. The hotel didn’t have any sleepy teas available nor were there any ear plugs in the room which would have been a nice inexpensive touch. They also had their only night life closed for a private party which I get back the lack of communication was really disappointing because we could have gone the first night we were there if we had known the bar would be closed in the second night. We ended up just hanging out in the room. I nicely offered my feedback to management to help them elevate their hotel and was slightly disappointed that they were just “sorry”. I don’t expect them to jump over the moon for my feedback but it would have been nice if they had offered something to get me to come back and try the hotel again. With them being priced about the same as the Inn at Biltmore, I will chose the Inn at Biltmore next time because my experience their was much more enjoyable and luxurious.

Yes Biltmore maybe more grandish but this is the best hotel we have ever stayed at. Room was spacious, clean & quiet despite being street facing too! The location was fantastic & walkable to all of Asheville 's downtown amenities. Staff was world class esp the valet guys Ahmed+ Matt + Neil!

This was my second time staying at The Restoration Hotel, back in 2023 I rated it a 5 Star. This year I noticed a big difference. This hotel has become a party hotel, the last night the music coming from the roof top was unbearable, staying on the 5th floor did not help. The room was vibrating from the music and the conversations were loud. Though the music was turned down at 10 PM so that helped a lot. The Draftsman Bar Lounge, one of my favorite places in Asheville was off limit due to private parties through out my stay, so that was strike two! The breakfast basket on day one was a winner, the following morning the breakfast basket had two very hard biscuits, so we opted to go out to breakfast. The staff continues to be amazing from the receptionist Mary Katherine to the valet Nick and other fellows that were friendly and professional.
