This is a lovely location. We stayed in the Rosakind carriage house. We had an faulty outlet in the bathroom whi h was replaced almost immediately aftdr I notifed the host. I has bo central heating bit plug ins work fine. Bring your socks or slippers. No shoes reqyested. One thing to know, we stayed 4 nights. All went well e xxept on Saturday night simeone stayed abive us who cane in at 2:40, then were very active in the bedroom for what seened like forever. You can definitely hear stuff like that. One very nice feature, beautiful grounds and ok to use the downstairs rooms in the chateau even if in the carriage house. Nice reading area and sunroom.

Perfect Ashland retreat

A friend and I were making our first trip to Ashland for the Shakespeare festival. This was the perfect place to stay, only few miles from the center of town but also completely secluded and quiet. Then there was the bonus of the amazing grounds of the château which were perfect for our morning walks. The management was quite responsive to our needs – – which actually weren’t very many – – and we are already talking about returning here again next year.

A slice of Rome! Absolutely Incredible!

We were in AWE from the moment we drove onto the property. The castle is stunning! The statues are gorgeous! Definitely a must if you’re spending time in the area. Believe me, you won’t want to leave! (We actually booked another night!).
