Very convenient to all the DDay Beaches close to Arromanches. A nice little house with with everything you need for a holiday except bath towels, washcloths and bath soap. There is parking onsite for your car and there is also a washing machine and clothesline for drying. The communication with the property owner was excellent. I would highly recommend this property if you are traveling to the beaches at Normandy.

Nice house convenient to Gold Beach.

Very nice house situated just a couple block from Gold Beach, an easy walk. Everything was as in the listing and we needed nothing additional. Although there were just two us of, this house is definitely set up with families in mind. Communication with the owners was easy and they always responded quickly, they recommended a couple for fantastic restaurants nearby for us. Great place! Here's a tip...make sure and make dinner reservations as most restaurants require them.

Urlaub am Atlantik

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dem Haus verbracht. Leider war es nicht wirklich sauber, in der SpĂŒlmaschine waren noch die Essensreste vom VorgĂ€nger, die Kaffeemaschine total verkalkt und die Sauberkeit des Hauses war auch nicht ok. Die Lage ist bis auf das Campingplatzfeeling ums Haus super, der Strand ist wirklich um die Ecke und alles was man braucht gibt es vor Ort. Bei schlechtem Wetter im Haus zu bleiben ist nur möglich wenn man genug Spiele und BĂŒcher dabei hat, denn TV ist nur auf französisch und das Internet nur zeitweise verfĂŒgbar. Wer sich viel in der Normandie anschauen möchte ist hier richtig. Bayeux ist nicht weit und es gibt genug zu sehen um zwei Wochen gut zu fĂŒllen. FahrrĂ€der kann man zu Hause lassen, da es kaum Radwege gibt.

Joli petit gĂźte, bĂ©nĂ©ficiant d’un superbe jardin,proche de la plage et des principaux sites touristiques locaux.Quelques commerces accessibles Ă  pieds trĂšs pratiques.Par contre il est trĂšs dommage de laisser une si belle location dans cet Ă©tat
 un grand coup de nettoyage et d’entretien lui rendrait son lustre d’antan.

Fuite d'eau de l’évier de la cuisine, cafetiĂšre et micro-ondes a revoir et cuvette des toilette. Pour le reste rien Ă  redire car le coin est trĂšs calme et bien placĂ© pour les visites de la rĂ©gion.

Le chalet est fonctionnel et bien décoré , situé au calme , trÚs prÚs de la plage . La maison était froide à notre arrivée ( 5 dehors et chauffage réglé sur 13), mais était correctement chauffée ensuite.

Petit sĂ©jour bien sympathique avec le soleil. La proximitĂ© avec la plage et des dĂ©parts de balade. Super jardin avec terrasse ! Cependant, maison vieillissante, mal insonorisĂ©e. La salle de bain mĂ©riterait un coup de jeune. Pour 4 jours, nous aurions Ă©galement apprĂ©ciĂ© un petit plus qu'un demi rouleau de papier toilette et un fond de produit vaisselle. Afin d'Ă©viter des 'courses' avec quelques petits arrangements, nul doute que ce pourrait ĂȘtre parfait.

Un bien agréable séjour dans la maison rouge

Nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© notre sĂ©jour dans la Beach House qui correspond exactement Ă  sa description sur le site : intĂ©rieur facile Ă  vivre avec toutes les commoditĂ©s ; quartier trĂšs calme et bercĂ© par la rumeur de l'ocĂ©an, nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la terrasse (tempĂ©ratures trop fraiches ) qui doit ĂȘtre fort agrĂ©able aussi . Situation idĂ©ale entre Houlgate et la pointe du Hoc... Bref, un endroit Ă  recommander .

Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung

Wir haben alles so vorgefunden wie beschrieben oder auf den Fotos abgebildet ist. Bauartbedingt (Holzhaus) ist das Haus recht hellhörig, insbesondere wenn im oberen Schlafraum jemand lĂ€uft, hört man das auch in den SchlafrĂ€umen drunter. Am ersten Tag hatten wir Probleme mit dem Kochfeld, da die Beschriftung der Regelknöpfe nicht mehr vorhanden ist und wir auch keine Bedienungsanleitung gefunden haben. Deshalb hier der Hinweis, die höchste Kochstufe wird angeschaltet, wenn man den Regelknopf einmal nach rechts (also im Uhrzeigersinn) dreht. Hinweise zum Umgang mit dem MĂŒll (Trennung, Abholung) wĂ€ren wĂŒnschenswert. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem Ferienhaus, den nur kurze Weg zum Meer haben wir sehr genossen.

Visite Normandie et Plages du débarqement

AgrĂ©able sĂ©jour pas de pluie (ou presque quelques averses pas du tout gĂȘnantes) GĂźte trĂšs agrĂ©able oĂč rien ne manque et superbement situĂ© Ă  4kms d'Arromanches. Balade le soir sur les sentiers qui longe la mer .. magnifique .. des couchers de soleil spendides !! Nous avons fait les musĂ©es du dĂ©barquement, cimetiĂšres amĂ©ricain, allemand, canadien.. Avons visitĂ© St MĂšre l'Eglise, le Mont St Michel, Deauville, Etretat, .. Nous repartons enchantĂ©s, des souvenirs plein la tĂȘte.. avec la promesse de revenir ! Vive la Normandie !

avec un peu d'entretien, le logement répondait à nos attentes

IdĂ©alement placĂ©e mais le logement devient vĂ©tuste par manque d'entretien : Fermeture portail et portillon avec des cailloux et Ă©lastique; batterie de cuisine trĂšs usager et certains Ă©lĂ©ments impropres Ă  l'utilisation, portes de douches ne coulissent plus car le systĂšme de glissiĂšre est cassĂ©, porte vitrĂ©e du vaisselier cassĂ©e. MalgrĂ© tout, le mĂ©nage est rĂ©alisĂ©. De plus, le propriĂ©taire ne laisse aucune coordonnĂ©e tĂ©lĂ©phonique pour le joindre en cas de besoin. MĂȘme si nous avons passĂ© un bon sĂ©jour dans cette rĂ©gion chargĂ©e d'histoire, il est regrettable de constater du manque d'intĂ©rĂȘt du propriĂ©taire pour sa location. Ca pourrait ĂȘtre tellement mieux !!
