Our stay was extraordinary. It was our third time in Assisi and we decided to explore this remodeled Palazzo. Centrally located in town and just a few minutes walking from the center plaza. You can walk to all the important sites, stores and restaurants from this property. The staff at the Palazzo treated us so nicely and were so attentive to our every need for our family of 8 (including a baby ) during our 5 day stay. We are so grateful to Herminia, Rita and all of the others that took care of us. The food was incredible , amazing views from the balconies and the Palazzo’s interior beautifully decorated with a mix of old world antiques and modern Italian pieces. So much history in the Palazzo Sbaraglini. Rafaella, the owner and descendant of the Sabaraglini gave us a tour of the Palazzo and its history + a visit to their small chapel inside the Palazzo where Saint Francis visited Saint Bernardino. The rooms , beds, showers and tubs were very comfortable and impecable. Nice hot water for this cold weather.The toiletries from local sellers. We had our private key to enter and leave the Palazzo as we pleased and all their contacts after hours in case we need anything.Like I said, attentive to every detail. Herminia helped us with our private transfer to Rome as per our request which went smoothly. We will definitely stay in this property again when we return to Assisi.
