The theme room was cool. The bed was firm and comfy. The front desk staff was pleasant. The view was not as good. We could see a bit if the marina but no river. There was a water swale in front of the balcony but it drained during the day and looked mucky. Beyond the swale was a plot with run down vehicles in it. A bit of a let down. The TV. We wanted to watch local news and CBS prime time shows. I followed directions to the letter and could not get to the channels. Also, the lag time from pressing the remote was about 5 seconds and it created confusion. We just turned it off. Minor stuff but it's stuff.

Harbor View Classic

The property is old and needs some repairs. The bed was not comfortable and the bathroom floor sloped probably 2 inches from foundation settling. The view of the harbor and the bridge was great. The walking path nearby was very nice.

We stayed at The Boat Yard Room number 159. This room definitely has a unique personality. It has an unusual rustic decor that makes it look like you are on a boat.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff was wonderful. The only suggestion would be to relocate the pigeons that are roosting under the decks on the first floor. It sounds like they are in the walls and it is kind of creepy. They also coo non stop until it gets dark.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed the place, so came back. It is located in a great place, convienent, beautiful views and ambiance. The facility could be updated inside and out, but the people were friendly, it was clean, quiet and beautifully located.

A great value for not so much money, great view!

Our stay was great! The staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. We had issues with an old toilet that needed attention, but the maintenance person took care of it promptly. The views are superb for an inexpensive motel. The continental breakfast was super basic but sufficient.

Nice view from room. Motel is older. Not a lot of seating in breakfast area-get there early. Family room option is great-hard to find this at other hotel/motels in Astoria

For an old style resort hotel the rooms were in decent condition, it is very walkable and wonderful views on the porch of your room. I walked the path into town several times and the staff was attentive. Good water pressure too!

We have been staying with Astoria Riverwalk for a few years now when we come down for the Friends of Fair Horse Show. This last weekend was the first of the show series & I was very disappointed in the room. The first room was so bad, we had to move. The first room the door didn't lock, the shower curtain only went to the top of the tub so the floor was covered in water. The 2nd room wasn't as bad. But it wasn't the cleanest either. We have two more weekends upcoming and I'm hoping the stay is better.
