I cannot say enough great things about the 12 Keys. This was my first time in Athens and I was a solo traveler. I did a lot of research before booking, and this place was perfect for my 10 days exploring the city. It's within a 10-minute walk of the Acropolis metro & museum. It's close to a bunch of major historical sites, including the Parthenon, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Roman Agora, the Ancient Athens Agoro, Socrates Prison, the National Garden and more. Its only 15 minute walk to Plaka, a trendy neighbourhood with fabulous shopping and eateries. The 12 Keys itself is a safe, secure building with the best staff ever. Gianos and Anastasia provided great recommendations, were extremely helpful, and always available by WhatsApp. Rooms were cleaned daily and exactly as advertised. I stayed in the senior suite, with a full kitchen, bedroom, and living area. Shower was great. There was a large balcony & A/C, which is essential in this heat! They also provided affordable airport transfers, which was better than the taxis. The driver even picked me up at the airport holding a sign with my name! The amazing staff even printed out a document I needed for work, free of charge. When Netflix wasnt working on my TV, Gianos gave me a bottle of wine. The hospitality is phenomenal. It's also very quiet here, which is nice after a long day exploring the city. 12 Keys is perfect for long term stays,.

Great Stay In Athens

Loved this apartment. Good location with a quick walk to the Acropolis and other attractions. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very comfortable. If I come to Athens again, I’d definitely stay again.

The property was centrally located with access to restaurants and metro line. The property manager was very accommodating with our questions and providing directions. The only negative feedback is that we were not allowed rooftop access, which is pictured in the property description. That apt was rented out long term

We very much enjoyed our three night stay at 12 Keys… Giannis was a warm and helpful manager that gave recommendations and helped make us feel very much at home. We rented a superior unit which had good cooking facilities, plenty of hot water, a clothes washing machine, and good Wi-Fi. Location is a short walk to the acropolis. The area felt very safe.

This place is few blocks away from Acropolis and at a reasonable price. The apartment was very clean. We had a customer service request in the middle of the night. When we sent a WhatsApp message at that hour, they responded immediately addressing our need. They sent us the details about the nearby restaurants and supermarkets.

The apartment was pretty clean (just a minor suggestion - the grout on the ground & bathroom need some cleaning but the rest of the apt is clean). Staff is very friendly & super helpful! Place is walking distance to acropolis.

Apartment is on a busy street which is a surprise as it’s one way and looks like a side street. That made our ground floor apartment less appealing. So we took advantage of the good location otherwise and got out a lot.

ROOMS/SUITES ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had 2 suites. Both were outstanding — spotless/clean, air conditioning worked perfectly, plenty of space for all things, refrigerators were spotless, electric stove was in excellent working condition (making cooking breakfast “at home” very convenient), and the in-suite washing machine was a bonus (super helpful so we didn’t have to find a laundry service). ————— SERVICE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Giannis and Anastasia were incredibly helpful before and during our trip. We arrived after hours due to extreme flight delays; arriving after midnight. We struggled with some functionality of the apartment door entry (user error, not theirs), but they responded immediately to our calls in a very pleasant and helpful manner - even in the middle of night. During the day, there’s onsite staff. ————— LOCATION ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 12 Keys is within 10 to 15 minutes of many sites and safe to walk. Huge plus to save on € taxis. Side note - being a congested city, taxi rides may take just as long. It’s close to a 24-hour market. There’s so many benefits of this location. ————— NOISE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The city can be loud. As a very little sleeper, I travel with earplugs. With windows closed and earplugs, I had no issues. ————— EXTERIOR ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Independent apartment’s aren’t likely to have traditional hotel-like exteriors/entries. 12 Keys exterior is not impressive. It’s just the way it is. The interior, service, and location are what’s important. ————— OVERALL ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
