To be fair, the hotel is beautifully designed, as one would expect from ACE. The common areas are thoughtfully put together and aesthetically pleasing. However, good design alone is hardly a substitute for comfort. The rooms are very small, with compact bathrooms (around 5–7 sq. meters) where the shower leaks and the only sink is oddly placed next to the bed. The location also feels somewhat impractical—neither central nor truly tranquil, leaving it in a sort of in-between space that isn’t very convenient. Thankfully, we didn’t need to move around much during our short stay. I’ve stayed at many ACE hotels worldwide and usually enjoy them, but this one simply doesn’t live up to the standard or justify the price. In Athens, there are plenty of well-designed hotels in the same price range that offer more comfort and better value. The hotel’s main attraction should be its pool, but the experience is diluted by day-pass visitors. What could have been a relaxing highlight instead feels like a crowded waterpark, with hotel guests left competing for shaded loungers and service. It’s a shame, because the pool has great potential. In its current form, it would only work if access were limited to hotel guests—or if the property positioned itself as an adults-only retreat. Without that change, the cramped rooms and compromised pool experience make it hard to justify staying here. To their credit, the staff do their best to mitigate the shortcomings, but it’s clear that management hasn’

upon arrival the staff member was extremely rude and condescending. did not greet us properly. when asked if a room could be made available, she responded with a lot of attitude and was not accomodating. did not inform us about the amneties (breakfast time, changing room for pool, pool towels). very expeditive and unwelcoming.

Only visit if it is empty!

Service is atrocious. Waited 90 minutes to check in as two people at the front desk could not handle the influx of people. Pool food/drink servers are nonexistent, then when you go to the bar to order after waiting so long they get annoyed. It's fine for a night for the pool, on the tail end of a longer trip, but so overcrowded, oddly staffed, and definitely overpriced for the set-up and service.

Club resort style hotel

Lovely hotel in a quiet location, near to the beach by taxi 10 mins, walking 20 mins. Hotel was beautifully decorated, staff were all lovely and friendly. The sea view rooms were better as not over the pool with all the music noise. My room had a leak from the shower in to the toilet and bedroom, which didn't get fixed after 4 nights. The pool area was lovely although they have about 25 massive speakers all around the pool area playing music non-stop all day long, which at times can be a bit annoying, and a few times I had to ask if they can turn it down a bit, 80db especially the speakers are right by your head. But they understood. Its more for younger people who like music all day long, but not very relaxing. The breakfast was ok, but bit basic and slow to get any service or help. The front desk and bar staff were very attentative and couldn't do enough to help. A great place to stay with friends for just a few days to party, but not if you want peace and quiet.
