Book if if you are brave enough to face a stranger

The apartment is clean and well located. However in my first night at the property. a thief broke into the apartment while I was sleeping. Thank god I only lost some personal property with a lot of cash but anything can simply happen. The balcony door was faulty and one can easily open it even if it was locked. The owner did not take any responsibility. Hotels.com told me that they cannot do much even though they saw the broken door. Go and book a hotel instead and stay safe. Unless you are planning a vacation with many paperwork, police, and ready to face a stranger next to your bed while sleeping!

We loved this place, it was clean, comfortable, quiet and peaceful, away from the crowds and the noise. But easily walkable to food and shops, attractions and some museums. Easy to get transport and the view was quite something with the Parthenon visible from the balcony.

The apartment is located on the third floor of a building in a quiet, nice neighborhood of Athens. There is an old style elevator that can fit about 3 people. The apartment was clean, spacious, and stocked with thoughtful touches like laundry detergent and an ironing set. The beds were comfortable and the view of the Acropolis from the balcony was great. Communication with the host was quick and pleasant. The only small issues we had were with the showers and wifi. The bathroom floors would get very wet and slippery anytime the shower was used. Also, the hot water could burn even if the control wasn’t set to the highest temperature. The wifi would stop working sometimes, but resetting the router fixed the problem. On our last morning, there was incessant ringing about 30 minutes before our check out time. I asked our host about it but did not receive a response before our departure.

Very comfy beds, good location short walk to major sites w a lot of small restaurants and shops! Impeccably clean! Quiet at nite. WiFi could use something to boost the signal.

Excelente ubicación, muy bonito departamento con todas las amenidades necesarias. Súper limpio y la anfitriona súper atenta, super claras las indicaciones y contestando mis dudas. Siempre que regrese a Atenas buscaré este alojamiento como mi primera opción! Hay un comentario sobre el agua caliente y la verdad es que no batallamos para nada, solo hay que leer las indicaciones que no da la anfitriona 😅
