We had a wonderful stay here in Athens. The airline lost our luggage, and the host was very helpful in telling us where to shop for essentials and helping us get our bags back from the airline. The apartment is ADORABLE and a great location. Originally, we were going to book somewhere else, but I am very glad we ended up here! Plaka was a great home base in Athens.

The detailed check-in instructions (provided after contacting the host) were very clear and easy to follow. The apartment is very well located, in the center, at walking distance of 2 metro stations and main city attractions. Air conditioning, internet and hot water (simply follow clear instructions for breaker) were available and easy to use. There was an air purifier available as well. Being in sort of an half basement, the place was darker than imagined. The apartment was mostly very clean, but dusty in the corners, under the bed and on walls/decorations (normal for quick turn around cleaning, but a deeper clean/dusting could be beneficial. Our son has asthma, we were please to have access to an air purifier). There was a few bugs spotted. We stayed one night before making our way to the airport, after spending time in the island. It was convenient to transfer by metro from the Port, then to the airport.

Great location and apartment! Very close to Acropolis and nearby street markets. Everything was very modern and clean. The beds are very very comfortable. AC and hot water were amazing. The courtyard was very clean. There are no windows in the ground floor apartment; however there are a lot of light switches which provides a very nice environment. The shower was very spacious and modern; however, we felt it could drain a little better. Overall, amazing apartment! We would definitely return! :)

This was a beautiful apartment. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because my family didn't like the fact that toilet paper couldn't be flushed down the toilet. I hear that many places in Greece are like this because they have old pipes that are very thin and will clog very easily. I know it was not the fault of the owner, just a big inconvenience. The Hotel we stayed at in Athens a couple weeks earlier did not have this problem.

Hübsch und gut gelegen. Leider muss man auf warmes Wasser 20-30 min warten. Es war für mich nicht sofort ersichtlich, dass es sich um ein Apartment und nicht um ein Hotel handelt, bei der Buchung.
