We only had issue with air conditioner. When you open the patio door the air goes off (they told us that would happen) you just have to turn it back on. Ours didn’t stay on once turned on. We called front desk and they said they needed to restart the system for us. After that, everything was fine. Even with that situation the staff immediately addressed it. Loved this hotel.

Great stay for family

Very nice hotel close to all the historical/tourist sites like acropolis. View from the room was great. We could see the temple of zeus and parthenon from the hotel and the restaurant. Breakfast was a bonus with good selection. Also within walking distance to plaka neighbourhood

The Athens gate is perfectly located near the Acropolis and all of the great shops within walking distance. We found excellent places for lunch and dinner. Of course the Greek food was perfect, but we actually happened into a small Italian restaurant that had about six tables and cooked the food right in front of you in an open kitchen. We felt like we were being served at someone’s home with better service and great wine selection.

Great hotel!!

They are so friendly here! They accommodated us for a last minute breakfast box request out of hours. The location is perfect and located next to several tour bus sites and the Acropolis Plaka. Its 5 minutes from Monastiraki square and tons of restaurants. Not to mention strong AC, which was so nice in the 100F+ heat of July! Highly recommend!

The best thing about this hotel is the view across from the Acropolis. You won’t find any little luxuries, poor quality towels and not even a towelling dressing gown. I don’t recommend dining. Be prepared to arrive early for breakfast otherwise the choice is limited. Located in a popular area near the Plaka area.

The staff is amazing and very helpful. The rooms are well-kept. The complimentary breakfast was one of my favorite parts of the morning, and the food was fresh and delicious. There is no where to park in the area, and the side streets are extremely narrow and almost impossible to drive through (especially if you are not accustomed to the area). We did not anticipate this when we rented a car. It is MUCH better to taxi from the airport, as everything is within walking distance from the hotel. The only thing I did not like about the hotel itself was the very small elevators. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here!

Less than 5mins to entrance of acropolis and shops of Plaka. Property was clean. Efficient bell staff with checking in and checking out luggages if you arrive earlier than check in or if your flight is much later than check out time. Would recommend it to friends.

The facilities were very clean and staff was courteous. I would stay again. The bed with comfortable and our balcony was great. The view from the rooftop was amazing. The restaurant was ok. It was hot and the AC was not working well. We also had a seat that allowed us to watch the chef eat the food he was preparing with his hands. It was gross. I would go somewhere else for dinner. Then just have a drink for the view.
