The location of the hotel was a little interesting, making you feel unsafe walking alone. But if I'm honest, that's how most of Athens feels, if you're new to the city.

Superb location with front door metro access and 15 minute walk to Monastiraki Square and Plaka. If arriving by metro from the airport at Omonia Station take the Konstantinou exit using the set of stairs at the right which will take you up right next to the hotel entrance. The hop on/off tour buses stop in the square as well as several bus routes. There are also ample cafes, pastry and sandwich shops nearby. My room was spacious with a fridge and room safe. My only criticism is the furniture. There is a closet to hang clothes with a few shelves but there are no drawers and no desk. There is a small table for the kettle but few outlets. The bed side tables are cut in a semi circle which made the tops rather small. There is also a table for placing your luggage which ideally should have been a desk but there is no light above the table and no outlets.

Excellent location, clean, and friendly staff

The Hotel was phenomenal. The room was super clean. The breakfast was Excellent. The staff was extremely friendly. I told them we were celebrating an event. They wrote me a beautiful note. Also, excellent location. The hotel is very close to the train station. For 1.20€ we took the train to the cruise port then ubered (8€) to our cruise ship as Athens Port is extremely big and not walkable. The whole experience was excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fine accommodations with one caveat

A fine hotel, with a nice and very elaborate breakfast with excellent service. Great, helpful front desk staff (thank you, Thomas). Doable walk to central locations and the archeological museum. Room was small like those in most European cities. The only criticism is the extremely small and uncomfortable toilet that we had!

Great value for us booking through Expedia. Fantastic location. The fountain wasn't running, but you can't blame the hotel for that! Really friendly staff and smart, clean rooms. Amazing breakfast buffet meant we could keep wandering until mid afternoon.

I lived to stay in the hotel we stayed there twice, 1 night each time. Everything was perfect. But the sound proof isolation should have been better. The bed is a bit soft but it is still ok. Very good breakfast buffet. Nice view from the room even the fontain was not working

Decent hotel with nice decor. Limited breakfast options with fewer vegan options. Overall not a bad experience & I would revisit this hotel. Great access to transportation & within walking distance to markets, restaurants and historical sites. The main downside which isn’t the hotel’s fault is that it’s surrounded by many abandoned and derelict buildings. Walking in some areas at night may be uncomfortable for some people. Athens was fun and I will revisit again.
