Hotel is very close to metro station. Good breakfast selection. However hotel is very basic from lobby to rooms. Walls are very thin so you can hear neighbours & street noise. There was someone smoking in bathroom, so we were not able to use it for some time. Of course this not hotels fault.

Was very dissapointed because when I checked in, the front desk insisted that my booking is only restricted to the 1st to 4th floor, and they refused to give me a room on the higher floor, claiming that fountain view means lower floor so that you can see the fountain more clearly (this is nonsense as one can enjoy the fountain even on the higher floors). On all the hotel booking site, there is no mention that fountain view rooms are only restricted to the 1st to 4th floor (there is no options for higher floor fountain view in the booking at all, just the option for Fountain View or Lycabettus view). I came back to this hotel because I had stayed here on my last visit to Athens and was given a room at the higher floor with a very nice view. Want to enjoy the same nice experience again but is deeply dissapointed this time by thier attitude. If there is such a restrictions it should have been clearly stated in the booking details.

We recently stayed at the Athens Tiare Hotel with a group of 9, occupying multiple rooms. While the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, there were several issues that impacted our overall experience. The good: • The hotel is in a great location—within a 10–12 minute walk to rooftop bars and restaurants with stunning Acropolis views. • Easy access to shopping and local amenities. • There’s an on-site bar and a couple of dining options. The not-so-good: • The breakfast was very basic and repetitive each day. • Every room in our group experienced flooding in the bathroom when using the shower. The seals on the shower doors were poorly designed, which meant we constantly had to use towels to soak up water from the floor. • The hotel has only two tiny elevators that are extremely slow, so we often ended up using the spiral staircase multiple times a day. • Although we booked rooms with balconies, we were not able to access them, which was disappointing. • Air conditioning was inconsistent—ineffective during the day and only mildly better at night. It also took longer to cool the room if the staff removed the key card (which controls power to the room). This hotel has potential with its location and friendly staff, but the maintenance and amenities need serious improvement. With a few upgrades, it could offer a much better guest experience.

Good location

Check in was good and the staff was very helpful with any request. We arrived at 8:30 am and was given an early check in, which was well needed after a long overnight flight. The bed was very low and the mattress could use some more padding. The tub was very high and slippery which was not good for my bad knees and hips. I tweaked my hip trying to get in and out of the tub (I'm 5'6) and almost fell a few times because of slippery tub. We received a VIP bottle of wine, which was left in a warm refrigerator, because the refrigerator did not work if the key card was not in the room slot to turn on the lights. When my Greece tour started 2 days after my initial arrival, (room booked with tour company) we requested and received a room with just a shower. The shower had a partial clear wall on the side and no shower curtain, so when we showered, the floor and floor towel got soaked. The floor in the room had crumbs and dirt on it, and housekeeping had to come and vacuum. The food in their restaurant which was outside the front door was very good. Excellent burger! Friendly staff. Good location for getting around. A stop for all of the Hop on Hop off buses was across the street, as well as a large mall and plenty of places to eat.

We had a city view room. The room was a good size, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Everything was very clean —I really can’t fault it. A couple of minor inconveniences: the fridge wasn’t working, and two of the wall sockets were out of order (the bedside ones worked, so we didn’t complain). The staff were lovely, including the people at breakfast buffet, and the gentleman at reception kindly helped us cut a lock off our backpack when it wouldn’t open. Thank you!
