Summary:
Garden-level ground floor 27 m2 studio with small double bed, living space with single sofa-bed and desk, open-plan kitchen, dining table for 2 and large veranda opening out into the garden, for 1-2 people.
The Space:
Accessed through a basement entrance, the studio opens out directly into the garden. Its charming interiors combine with the verdant view to evoke feelings of privacy and tranquility.
It has been carefully designed and renovated to meet all modern comforts, as well as attractively furnished and fully equipped.
The main living space consists of a small double bed, a leather single sofa-bed and a small desk.
A small breakfast table, which comfortably sits 2 people, is placed in the nook between the entrance and the open-plan kitchen with wood-faced cupboards. The kitchen contains a small fridge, microwave oven, ceramic cooktop, coffee maker, as well as all necessary kitchenware.
The studio’s greatest advantage is the large sitting area of the peaceful veranda with its greenery, which can be enjoyed throughout most of the year! It contains a table and director chairs seating 4, as well as a wide built bench with cushions.
The simple bathroom with glass-separated shower completes the studio’s interiors.
The studio is air-conditioned making it suitable for year-round occupancy.
There is adequate closet space on the right side of the entrance. Bed linens & towels are all provided, along with a complimentary toiletries' welcome pack.
The Neighborhood:
This lovely studio is ideally located just 2 blocks away from the sea, in a safe and quiet neighborhood of Palaio Faliro, a residential area with friendly residents.
Palaio Faliro is a conveniently situated green, coastal neighborhood, only a short bus/tram ride to the city centre and directly en-route to the Piraeus port and International airport.
Palaio Faliro has much to offer; discerning visitors will be impressed by the variety of amenities available.
The main street Agiou Alexandrou (just a block away from the apartment) offers a variety of local shops/boutiques, supermarkets, bakeries, delicatessen shops, organic food mini-market, cafes, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, solarium, Pilates studio, gym, hairdressers, laundries, travel agencies etc.
All local beaches are easily accessed both by tram or on foot along the magnificent promenade.
The Flisvos park and marina are also close by. During summertime an open air cinema operates in the park providing relaxing evening entertainment. The marina offers a variety of music bars /cafes and restaurants open all day and night.
Day trips, by boat to the Saronic Islands of Aegina, Hydra and Poros depart from the Flisvos marina daily during the summer season and at designated times off season.
The weekly Friday open market (laiki), selling fresh fruit and vegetables is a fascinating experience for any curious visitor!
