The hotel and staff were good, not a vast choice for breakfast but what was available was nice. The problems started on the second morning, we had a knock at the door from court officials, the owners of the hotel were being evicted so we had 45 minutes to pack up and leave. The officals had asked the owners to provide us with alternative accommodation but had no response.

Terrible management. While the staff was very friendly, this hotel really failed. On multiple levels. They advertise many things as services you will get but they don't provide them. The worst of all was the fact that I requested an airport transfer from them- specifically as they asked- both in the Expedia app (twice) as a direct response to their question on whether I needed it, and I emailed both the info and reservation addresses of the hotel the day before to ask for my car transfer. There was no car transfer. I ended up getting an Uber. They advertise that you can't drink the water in the hotel, although you can in Athens as a rule, but they want to charge you three dollars per bottle instead of free bottles in the room which is normal at hotels. They give you four free capsules of Nespresso, and say from there after they are $1.50 each. These should also be free as they are in most hotels- including the Newel I stayed in last week. They advertise a happy hour. There was no happy hour. And they advertise a rooftop bar experience. But it was closed of course in the winter. The problem here is that they have very poor management that let's far too many staff go during the off-season and so the service is horrible. I'm only giving it three stars because I liked the people I did meet at the hotel- they were trying but they were understaffed and probably underpaid from what I could tell. It really only deserves two stars but I will give it three because of the people.

We had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The location is a major highlight—you have access to all of Athens' main attractions, but it feels peaceful because you aren't right in the middle of everything. The staff was always very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was very comfortable and relaxing, and the breakfast was very tasty. A perfect choice for a trip to Athens.

I loved my stay at Athens L7 STR! Each member of staff were attentive and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. Beautiful hotel and it was wonderful to be served a full breakfast each morning. They even held the breakfast stations open for me when I was running late. Fast wifi, very clean, central location, close to trains, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and the main attractions in Athens. The Greek people are also wonderful which enhanced my time there. I will be coming back next year!

The room was good.breakfast was enjoyed and a nice mixture. Friendly staff Cons: The shower head did leak after using it. Bathroom didn’t lock. Regarding the sauna seemed like it was only available when staff could turn it on, wasn’t on otherwise. A random staff member accessed our door and came to enter in the morning happened which was a bit odd, considering we were staying in the room. Staff member left when we said Hello…. Bed sheets were requested to change but turns out all that happened was the sheets were turned over. Duvet was left the same…. Same stain was there when we returned. Aside all of the above we had a good 4 day break in Greece.

All the staff were really lovely and welcoming. HUGE shout-out to Mike though!! He was an absolute legend and nothing was ever too much trouble and he really saved the day when we were running late! The room was fantastic and well cleaned and stocked up. We wish we would've come in the summer as the roof terrace we were told was closed but we still had a fantastic time and it was in such a great location! Wonderful amenities nearby! Couldn't have been a better honeymoon! We are so grateful to Mike and all the team at L7 ❤️
