Charming little hotel

This is a charming hotel with great staff in a very central location. While rooms are basic and the lift is very small, they are well equipped with fridge and hairdryer. I had a lovely balcony with a view of the cathedral and part of the acropolis which was an unexpected surprise. There is a breakfast room on the roof with great views too. Would return.

Extremely small shower. No way to turn body around without getting stuck in curtain; shower head also gets all over entire floor. Beautiful rooftop, pretty good location. Staff was very friendly.

Excellent Location and Good Value

The location of the hotel was great, so close to everything. The rooftop terrace was a nice place to hang out. They serve breakfast up there in the morning. Beyond that there are no services but you can bring your own drinks up and enjoy the spectacular views. The rooms are no frills but they were clean and the price was right. The service was excellent.

The property is very out dated the room was extremely small, we had to put our luggage on the bed to walk around the bed, it said it has balcony, the balcony there was one chair and no more room to even seat, the roof top breakfast is good

We booked a room with a balcony and Acropolis view. It did not disappoint! Amazing views from the balcony. This is exactly what we were looking for. The hotel staff is super friendly and always available. Would stay here again and recommend to everyone.

Very good location, close to Syntagma Square where you can pick up the X95 bus direct to the airport. The hotel has a rooftop terrace, accessible for all guests 24/7, with views of the Acropolis. Staff are very nice and accommodating. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and kind. We were able to check in as early as 10:00 am without any additional fee.

The room and bathroom are tiny as is the lift. It was very cold at night. We did not try the breakfast but probably should have as what we ate next door was awful and expensive. It is very clean, well situated, but very old fashioned.

Metropolis Hotel was in a perfect location. Walkable to the acropolis and short distance to the metro. Super easy transfer via train and bus to airport by M3 and X95. Make sure to go to the 6th floor and get a gorgeous view of the church and acropolis

This hotel was absolutely amazing! Our view was spectacular overseeing the Acropolis with the Parthenon. It offered a lovely complementary breakfast every morning, and the staff were very friendly and helpful! We had the privilege of meeting Thomas and his son who owned the hotel and felt like family the minute we walked in. My friends and I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Athens.
