Do not rent! This property is COVERED in black mold! It is unsafe and uninhabitable! Upon arrival, we saw that the bathroom ceiling and one bedroom wall were covered in black mold, which immediately sickened us! We contacted the owner of the property immediately and sent photos, but the owner denied any issues with the unit despite the photo evidence. The company seems to be based in China, and it seems they have abandoned this property. While I was very angry about the lack of positive response from the owner, I was more angered by Expedia's response. Expedia insisted that, although the owner was committing fraud by renting out an unsafe apartment, they could not refund my money due to the "non-refundable policy". Essentially, Expedia is protecting a fraudulent company that is stealing guests' money by renting out an apartment that is completely unsafe.

Apartment is spacious - can comfortably fit 5-6 people, which is the upside. However, the condition of the apartment has declined significantly since the profile photos were taken, especially the bathroom. The bathroom ceiling was very mouldy, the toilet lid was half broken and a number of cabinet doors were missing. The place is still livable, but it can really benefit from some improvements.

Wonderful communication with host. Cab drivers warned us to be careful walking at night. 3rd floor walk up, elevator out of service. Great food beside the pharmacy at the corner.
