Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
The host was initially unreachable when we tried to check-in and did not answer either messages or voicemail for about an hour. By then I had reached out to the platform for help. The host initially claimed that I'd never had a reservation. When I gave him my confirmation number, he then claimed he had previously cancelled my reservation (and that other guests were staying at the house that night). Expedia confirmed that he had not cancelled my reservation--and apologized for the host's unscrupulous behavior. Expedia was great in resolving the issue which we really appreciated. But I would caution other travelers from renting from this host.
