Our flight from Cancun landed late and we were too tired to drive. Red Roof was close to the airport, so we went. Check-in went smooth however when we turned back the sheets, a ROACH ran out. The pillow cases were dirty and the bathroom floor had hair on it.
I LOVE Red Roof Inns and go to 15+ every year. This one was not great. We checked in late so we did not communicate complaints to staff, but
-There was moldy tea left in the kettle
-shower did not drain
-hair and debris in sink, shower, on floor
-missing pillowcases
-the under bed area was entirely metal ai it clanked with every movement.
-room was non smoking but reeked of cigarettes
This was one of the worst motel/hotel experiences we have had. Left after 1 hour trying to make it work after a long night with cancelled flights...had to leave it was so bad.
This was a pleasant surprise, we had to last minute book this hotel. It was a very good experience. Check in clerk was super nice. The room was in a good location. The room was clean. The a/c work very good. The bathroom, microwave and refrigerator were all clean.
They had great amenities hand soap and lotion in a dispenser near the sink. Shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The towels were clean white. The ice maker worked and was.very clean because the melted ice water tasted clean. I would highly recommend this location of the red roof inn.

First time
My first time experiencing a unclean room here. The floor wasnt swept, there was roaches in the room, and the water didnt get too hot. Overall i was safe and i did get a good nights rest.
As soon as you drive in there’s like 2-3 cars parked outside, which is weird! Then as soon as you walk into the rooms it smells like cigarettes or something. After they tell you no smoking or vaping. To top it off the sheets and pillow cases look dirty and old. Not a place to stay with your family. So we, decided to leave. Management only charged us one night and gave us back the rest which was good!

Big water roaches are in the rooms to sleep with you as well and I didn’t order any extra guest!
