horrible- they were doing renovations on all parts of the hotel, LOUDLY at all hours of the day and early. only ONE elevator was working, and it was tiny. I waited up to 15 minutes for an elevator. I understand that renovations need to be done, but it was noisy while I had to take calls and we got no heads up at all. they should’ve let us know that this would be happening AHEAD of time, not when we arrived. i would not book this hotel ever again. Jorden at the front desk was very nice.

The staff was AMAZING, they were dealing with some issues out of their control during my stay but everyone was in good spirits and were super helpful with all of my needs and questions. Rooms were very clean and the location is great for walking around to check out shops and the Ferris wheel! Due to the issues they were having you definitely couldn’t drink the tap water and I didn’t get to experience the rooftop. I wasn’t expecting the $300 deposit on each room (I figured $150 max) so that limited our trip a good bit. Despite all that, I would stay there again. Beds were comfortable enough as well.

The day before our reservation a pipe burst and flooded the floor our room was on. Our room was perfectly fine but hallway was a shambles and being dried and repaired our whole stay. Other than that (which the hotel was taking care of as fast and well as possible) our stay was comfortable and staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

The hotel itself is a really nice quality and the staff was really nice and helpful. I feel like there should be a heads up about the lack of parking accommodations and that $45/night for valet should be your expectation. We were on the 9th floor and the noises the elevators make were enough to make my whole group nervous. I really liked the room, it was spacious and comfortable. On the final morning we were cutting it close for the breakfast (it runs 6am-10am) and we showed up at 9:45 and it was all put away and the workers were wiping the counters. That was a little annoying.

My room wasn’t ready when I arrived which was expected due to me arriving before the usual check in time. The room I was first put it looked very nasty! The second room I was put in looked way better. The showers need to be properly cleaned. The shower floor looked gray! Overall customer service was great!

The hotel has a convenient location, however, when we went for the check-in, we waited for 1 hour and a half because some floors were flooded and there weren’t enough rooms/rooms ready. We were told that we could check-in early starting at noon. The staff was nice but we were not communicated at the time the reason for the delay or that there was even an issue at all when we checked our bags prior to the check-in. There was a complete lack of communication.

Immediately upon arriving, we faced our main issue with this hotel: Even though our stay was prepaid through Expedia, the person at the front desk told us that they "were sold out of the type of rooms we paid for". (We prepaid for a two-queen-bed type of room. We were asked if we could accept a 1-queen-bed and a Sofa-bed room, and to make up for their mistake, they would waive the safety-deposit / holding charge on our card. When he was finishing the check-in process and was providing us our key cards, I got an alert that a charge was made to my debit card. It was their standard holding charge for a safety-deposit, USD 90/night, for 2 nights = $180. My particular bank does not release a holding charge from any hotel until after 30 days from the date the holding charge is made. Gigantic inconvenience. The hotel employee even called "a manager", to try and fix it, but could never do it. It was upsetting how incompetently we were checked-in and consequently, monetarily affected by this mistake. Don't think I'll stay there again. Other than that, the hotel is great, excellent location, two blocks from Centennial Park, State Farm Arena, and the Georgia Aquarium and Coca-Cola Museum. Excellent breakfast quality and superior service by the kitchen staff.
