Great beginning/ Nightmare ending!!
Place was wonderful, very clean easy to locate. Great communication with the host.
However, several things happened, some of which the host had no control over. Future guests should be aware…
There is a very limited and inconvenient parking situation. (Zero parking close to the unit.) We literally got our car booted and almost towed away within minutes of arriving while still unloading our luggage and we were charged $75 on the spot in order to have our car released.
One time we had to park all the way outside of the complex on the street.. Having to walk such a long distance at night made us feel very unsafe.
Half way through our stay the A/C unit went out.
The host was unable to get maintenance to fix the unit, which resulted in us having to leave early and forced us to make last minute accommodations. As we were preparing to leave, the main gate had a malfunction and we could not get our car close to the unit so we had to carry our luggage all the way outside the gate to load up.
We requested a partial refund but she was only willing to give us a very unreasonable amount considering the HUGE inconvenience we had to experience.
