Spacious 2 Bedroom Rental on the Au Sable River

All the comforts of home, directly on the AuSable River! This 19th century building has 4 units, high ceilings, tons of natural light & gorgeous views of the river. Unit 3 is located up an enclosed set of stairs, which offers additional storage for skiing, fishing gear, etc. Each unit has shared access to the yard & fire pit overlooking the river & off street parking for 1 vehicle. Wonderful, location with several local amenities & close to many Adirondack attractions.

Centrally, located between Lake Placid & Plattsburgh, NY in the heart of Au Sable Forks on the main road to Wilmington (White Face), & Lake Placid. We’re directly on the East branch of the Au Sable River & walking distance to many things. Including, a shuttle to Lake Placid/Whiteface. Unit 3 is located on the second floor and has 2 large, beautifully decorated bedrooms with views of the AuSable River. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed & bedroom 2 has a full size bed with a twin trundle. The open concept kitchen-living room features stainless steel appliances, butcher block countertops with bar seating, a large pantry with complimentary coffee & tea, a microwave & toaster oven. As well as tons of storage for additional food. The living room area has a 60” smart TV for all your streaming Apps. Each unit has shared access to the yard, which faces the river and features outdoor seating and a fire pit. Firewood, will be provided for your convenience. From the yard you can take the short path down the bank to access the river. This building was originally constructed in the 1900’s & still has some of it’s original charm but has been recently updated.

Pets:
One small to medium dog (under 50lbs) is allowed in the unit & must be leashed at all times, while outside. Pets are not to be left alone in the apartment unless they are crated or outside during your stay. All poop must be bagged & discarded in the trash bin & we ask that you do not allow your pets on the furniture or to dig holes in the yard. We’re allowing pets on a trial basis in the hopes that people will be respectful. Please, don’t ruin it for others. Exploring, the Adirondacks with your pet is a great experience.

We know how difficult it is to travel with little ones, and we are happy to take some of the stress off of your hands. ADK Riverside Retreat will loan you the following equipment free of charge:
