Set in an elevated position in Ostend with views across Palm Beach, Crescent Villa is a spacious island home with wide verandas, leafy surrounds, and room for families or groups to settle in comfortably. With five bedrooms including a separate sleepout, generous living areas, and an outdoor spa and shower, it offers a relaxed base close to beaches, vineyards, and village hubs.
The Space:
Crescent Villa sits in an elevated, leafy position in Ostend, looking out across Palm Beach and the surrounding coastline. The setting feels calm and private, while remaining well connected to beaches, cafés, and the centre of the island. High ceilings, polished timber floors, and wraparound verandas give the home a sense of space that feels both generous and grounded, with natural light and sea breezes moving easily through the house.
The open plan living, dining, and kitchen area forms the heart of the home. A long dining table works well for shared meals, while comfortable seating looks out to the garden and trees beyond. Doors open onto the verandas, creating multiple places to sit, read, or enjoy the outlook throughout the day.
The kitchen is well equipped and practical for holiday stays, with everything needed for relaxed cooking and shared meals.
Sleeping is spread across the main house and a separate sleepout. In the main house, there are three queen bedrooms and a larger bedroom with a super king bed that can be split into singles on request. Two family style bathrooms serve the main house, each with both a bath and a shower. The separate sleepout has a queen bed and external access and does not have a bathroom, making it well suited to guests wanting extra privacy.
Outdoor living is a highlight. Wide verandas frame leafy outlooks with views across Palm Beach, while the garden below adds privacy and a quiet, green feel. A barbecue is set up for easy summer meals, and an outdoor spa and shower provide a simple way to unwind after beach days or walks.
Crescent Villa is an easy, well laid out home designed for unhurried island stays, with space to come together and room to spread out.

The Neighborhood:
Crescent Villa sits in Ostend in an elevated, leafy setting overlooking Palm Beach. This central location makes it easy to move between beaches, cafés, vineyards, and village hubs without long drive times. Palm Beach is one of Waiheke’s most popular swimming beaches and is well suited to relaxed mornings by the sea. Arcadia and the Palm Beach Store sit just behind the sand and are easy options for coffee, breakfast, or casual dinners.
Onetangi Beach is only a short drive away and offers a long stretch of sand lined with beachfront cafés and nearby vineyards, making it a popular spot for extended beach days and long lunches. Waiheke Zipline Adventure Park is also nearby and offers a scenic way to see the island from above, set among native bush with coastal views.
Ostend itself is close by and works as a practical hub, with supermarkets, casual eateries, and the popular Saturday market. Oneroa Village is around ten minutes away and provides boutiques, galleries, bakeries, and dining options.
Getting Around:
The nearest bus stop is a short walk from the villa on the main Palm Beach and Ostend route. Buses run regularly from Palm Beach and Ostend, continuing through Vineyard Valley and stopping near well known wineries including Stonyridge, Tantalus Estate, and Te Motu, before travelling on to Oneroa Village and the passenger ferry terminal at Matiatia.
The Heke is also nearby and is a popular stop for wood fired dishes, craft beer, and a relaxed garden bar.
Taxi services operate year round, though availability and pricing can vary during busy periods. Walking tracks in the area link beaches, bush reserves, and vineyard areas for guests who enjoy exploring on foot.
Other Things to Note:
Minimum stays apply. Seven nights from mid December to mid January, three nights for the remainder of January and holiday weekends, and two nights at all other times.
Pets may be considered on request and must be approved in writing prior to arrival.
The property sits on an elevated site with a steep driveway and steps leading to the entrance, which is typical for homes in this area and worth considering if mobility is limited.
