Unfortunately the property lost power during our stay and we could not charge our phones and was unable to order any room service as the restaurant had to close. The staff are friendly (but were understandably stressed out), the rooms are clean and the location is great.

This was a great hotel for all the amenities it had and buffet breakfast. Would have been nice to have breakfast included though. It was a great location for the marina and downtown area for shopping and restaurants. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Overall a great place to stay.

Although the hotel is a bit dated, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The bed is comfortable, the air con is silent and working well, and the amenities provided in the bathroom give a luxurious feeling. The breakfast was good, with lots of selections to cater for all types of dietary requirements. The staff were the star of the show. Special thanks to Akshay who went over and above (and then some) to make sure we had the most enjoyable stay. Although we only stayed for one night we felt like we were treated like some sort of VIP client. Akshay's customer service is not something that you come across very often nowadays. Thanks to him, Crowne Plaza is our new favourite Auckland hotel.

Excellent hotel in central Auckland

Really enjoyed our stay. Great hotel close to the Skytower. Very nice large rooms with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room was on a high floor so we weren't bothered by the construction. Would definitely stay again. You can't go wrong with a Crowne Plaza property.

Good stay here. The construction around the hotel wasn’t too bad as we were just on foot. Room was comfy and quiet and it was very easy to get around the city from our location by bus or walking. Great to be so close to All Blacks Experience and Wēta Workshop. Sky Drive to Airport was also convenient.

Despite all the road work going on around the Crown Plaza, once navigated it was a very enjoyable stay, so convenient, loved the gym and sauna and felt the parking at $30 per night was very reasonable.
