Popular local spots include Little Frog Café for breakfast and The Oyster Inn for lunch or dinner. Oneroa also has supermarkets, boutique stores, and essential services.
Ostend is equally close and functions as the island’s practical hub, with a large supermarket, service station, weekend market, and casual eateries. Francos Italian Osteria is a well-known local option for dinner, and Ostend is also where you’ll find many local businesses and services.
Several of Waiheke’s established vineyards, including Mudbrick and Cable Bay, are within an easy drive. The Heke Kitchen, Brewery and Distillery is also nearby and offers casual dining, craft beer, and a relaxed atmosphere, particularly popular on summer afternoons.
The location works well for guests wanting quick access to beaches, vineyards, and village life without needing to travel long distances across the island.
Getting Around:
The nearest bus stop is only a minute’s walk away, with regular routes connecting the Matiatia ferry, Oneroa Village, and Onetangi Beach.
