Our family of 5 (3 kids ages 7-12) was here on our holiday in between a visit to the northlands and then after we headed south to new Plymouth. It ended up storming both nights so it was nice to have a kitchen and table for playing cards, etc. Smash burger nearby was excellent takeout!! (But check opening times). VERY modern, clean, and had all the essentials! It’s a smaller townhome with 3 rooms with comfy beds and 1.5 baths split on two levels. There is a 2-in-1 style laundry machine in the half bath that did the job with some patience. Gated community and designated parking was an absolute plus and very bright and lots of natural light for a townhome. Host was also wonderful to communicate with.This listing is basically a 5 star but just a few notes that made it tricky for our family. The white couches are tricky around children, but thankfully we had some extra towels we used as fabric protectors. The rooms are a bit too small to comfortably open up a checked size suitcase, but that’s minor. The parking space was also tight but doable. And the washing/dryer takes a significant amount of time per load sometimes needing a repeat cycle. But we are very thankful for our stay in this great neighbourhood and it was very safe! Overall, I would recommend for those not wanting to be right downtown. Very family friendly.
