I am hiking a section of the Te Araroa trail from Auckland to Hamilton and came across Heavens Rest as a logistical stop. I stayed in a 1 bedroom cottage and couldn’t have been more impressed with the tranquility after a long hike, comfy bed and fridge filled with juice, fresh milk, eggs, bread and yogurt. Robert even drove me back to the trail in the morning - highly recommend

The Kea cabin is very well appointed, including eggs in the fridge, juices and fruit included. The bed is very comfortable and it's a quiet location for a good sleep. Conveniently close to the motorway but no traffic noise can be heard. We enjoyed our overnight stay here.

This property was fabulous!!! The area suited us perfectly for where we needed to be. A short drive to Pukekoe for shopping. The breakfast was generous with option to cook or have continental.
