Would highly recommend staying at the Novotel Auckland Airport prior to flying, particularly before an early morning flight. The staff are very friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. We appreciated the concierge assistance getting our luggage to the terminal. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, comfortable beds ensure a good sleep. Views of the sunset over the runway to the Manukau Heads provided a special and lasting memory of our last night in NZ. Our dinner and the service at the hotel restaurant was faultless. The entire experience ensured a stress free start to our journey and a relaxed flight. Thank you.

The room design is good, but not very user-friendly. The hand soap dispenser is located high and far away. The toilet door is difficult to open and lock. I accidentally turned off the refrigerator when putting the hot water kettle down. The 200V outlet next to the pillow has poor contact.
