We loved the location on the waterfront. It was way better than downtown. There were plenty of dining options within walking distance. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. The adjacent diner had excellent food and coffee. The view from the room I’ll never forget. Hopefully, the peak view into the room was entertaining for others :)

Great location for pretty much everything we wanted to do, especially the ferries. Nice size of modern room.
Our issue was that both the rooms that we booked on the third floor smelt badly of drains - we were unable to open windows and had to run the air conditioning to cope with the smell. The bathroom in 317 was filthy and had not been cleaned to a good standard. That said the hotel was in a great location and the check in staff were very helpful. Would I book again - yes if they could guarantee that the room did not smell and cleaning had been done.
The room was spotless and comfortable. Sink stopper had no way to be raised up, so filled quickly and drained very slowly. No hairdryer, but was not listed as an amenity…should have one in all rooms.

Easy stay, enjoy my room cleaned after 3 nights stay. I can relax knowing i will not be disturbed during non cleaning days. Suggestion, when rooms are cleaned a quick notification to mobile number that the room is now ready. Nothing worse then returning to hotel only to find room has not been serviced yet.

Room was clean, modern, small but well laid out. This is a great hotel - practical - supermarket nearby and easy to walk into town. Free parking on the street from 4pm onwards. Perfect!
Great stay as always, the Travel Lodge is our go to when we come to Auckland, the location is perfect for the viaduct restaurants and bars and the facilities are clean and generally quiet
