Villa Casita (Apartment 2) was fully renovated only a short while ago so it has a lovely fresh clean feel to it. This Villa sits beside the Resorts building so it is close to the bar and restaurant. There is ample parking at the top of the drive, providing very easy access. The views from this Villa are wonderful, and sitting on its spacious north facing deck, furnished with table chairs and a decent sized BBQ, is a great spot to while away the day. Up to 4 guests can enjoy this villa. It is very well appointed, and has most everything you may require for a relaxing comfortable holiday, and the beach is a mere 5 minute stroll down the hill.

There are two super comfy beds, a Super King (can be converted to 2 King Singles) and a Queen bed, both with their feather pillows, ensuring a great nights sleep. The master bedroom opens onto the deck, and you can lay in bed and watch the TV. The second bedroom with the Queen bed is also a comfy room and has a flat screen Sky TV on the wall. A stereo is there for your favorite music and complimantary WiFi.

The kitchen is well appointed for a compact Villa. It has 2 elements, oven and micro wave, along with a fridge /freezer, and dishwasher.

The bathroom is nicely equipped and has a shower, and good lighting for the girls to put their make up on.

Relax on the deck, open your bottle of Waiheke wine and kick back and enjoy the view. This is a great little Villa, perfect for that weekend getaway or longer stay. You also have the full use of the resort swimming pool, spa, restaurant and bar.

It is conveniently located close to the free car parking area, and the bus stop is only 100 meters from the drive. Beautiful Palm Beach is a 800 meter stroll away.

Birthday celebrations

This was a lovely bach to stay at with my two adult daughters celebrating their birthdays. The location was perfect within the Waiheke island resort. Walking distance to beautiful Palm beach and enjoyed the resort facilities too.

Great views from the deck down to Palm Beach. Very friendly staff both at the hotel or via Waiheke Unlimited who we booked through. The unit although small had everything we needed for two couples plus a restaurant next door. Would definitely stay again.

VILLA CASITA NOT WHAT WE HOPED

Pros: Views, BBQ, deck, location. Cons: Very small for 4 people for one week, extremely hot, no air con or mosquito screens - has noisy floor standing fans. Glass top coffee table had lugs that are broken so if you put too much weight on top the glass falls out. Main double bifold door lock was faulty & couldn’t be replaced for the last half of our stay even though I had bought the issue to their attention on our second day of the stay. It would be fair enough to say this was an unforeseen issue however Waiheke Unlimited expected us to stay in Villa Casita while the bifolds had to be locked permanently & we were unable to easily access the deck for relaxation, bbq cooking or to allow any airflow inside, only when I complained did they move us for the last 2 nights of our stay.
