The Space:
Welcome Cottage is a fabulous Waiheke bach offering both a spa pool and sauna. Outside living is encouraged with a large outdoor fire and seating and dining areas. There is also a second bedroom in a separate living space to the main house with its own full outside bathroom. The cosy main house has a kitchenette, seating area and bedroom, along with a modern bathroom. Welcome Cottage is a short walk from the cafes in Surfdale and a short drive from Oneroa, beautiful beaches and award winning vineyards.
Designed by Architect Ron Seeto as part of a family getaway, it is an example for Slow Living & Kintsugi finding perfection in imperfection in the Wabi Sabi style with a boho vibe.
Bed Configuration: Bedroom 1 - queen bed, Bedroom 2 in guest cabin - queen bed (use of outside bathroom or cottage bathroom)
Minimum stays: 7 nights between mid December and mid January, 3 nights all holiday weekends, 2 nights at all other times.

Welcome Cottage is a short walk from the cafes in Surfdale and a short drive from Oneroa, beautiful beaches and award winning vineyards.
Waiheke Island is known for its stunning beaches, amazing coastal walkways and world class vineyards and restaurants.
Getting Around:
Waiheke Island is 20km long. Our properties are mainly located in the first 10km. Taxis are available but can be expensive. Regular bus services operate around the island.
Other Things to Note:
Bedroom 2 is in guest cabin - double bed (use of outside bathroom or cottage bathroom)
