Secluded cottage near Lascaux Caves

We were met at the cottage by our host for key pickup. He gave us a quick overview of the place as well as answered a few questions. The cottage was roomy and very secluded, but only about 15 minutes to Lascaux caves. The bed was comfortable with extra blankets if needed. Bathroom was fine , however there were no towels. It is probably listed as such, but it was missed during our vetting. Not a big deal since we travel with our own, just something to note. Kitchen was well appointed. Plenty of pots,pans and, dishes. Washing machine with nice clothesline outside. We will be coming back for a longer stay next year because the area is full of lovely little villages. Also of note, there is table tennis and a pool, which we didn't get a chance to use, since we were so busy.....

Au calme, accepte les animaux de compagnie toutefois attention l espace est non clos, propriétaire vous accueille agréablement, logement bien situé pour être à la fois à proximité des sites touristiques en voiture bien sur et rentrer en soirée au calme se rafraîchir dans une belle piscine, de très belles balades à faire. Je recommande ce gîte il est propre, bien équipé très fonctionnel.

Gîte très bien situé, proche de nombreux sites remarquables. Un immense jardin très apprécié des enfants même en hiver,très bien fourni et au calme. Un très bon accueil du propriétaire qui a eu des petites attentions pour ses hôtes. Merci encore.

Nous avons passé un tres bon séjour dans cet endroit avec 2 enfants en bas age.Le gite est très bien équipé. Il y a un grand terrain sur lequel les enfants peuvent jouer tranquillement, avec une belle vue, très paisible, et une belle piscine! C est en plus très bien localisé, a côté de montignac et autres centres d intérêt. Et le propriétaire très gentil. Bref une adresse que nous recommandons , et ou nous n hesiterons pas à revenir.

Séjour très ressourçant en famille

Nous sommes venus 3 jours avec nos trois enfants (8, 6 et 4 ans). Le gîte est idéal par beau temps : la vue est belle et reposante, avec un immense jardin où les enfants courent et aiment faire des acrobaties. L'endroit est idéal pour permettre aux parents de se reposer tranquillement, puisque les enfants ont à leur disposition table de ping-pong, kit de badminton, balançoire, pétanque, frisbee, cerceau... le tout sous nos yeux pour un maximum de sérénité. Le gîte est propre et bien équipé. La région est fantastique. En trois jours, nous avons visité Lascaux, le parc du Thot (à faire absolument avec des enfants), le superbe château de Castelnaud (top aussi avec des enfants grâce aux nombreuses animations proposées), la cité troglodytique de La Roque St Christophe, la jolie ville de Sarlat et même une chèvrerie et un élevage d'oies. Bref, nous conseillons cet endroit à tous les amateurs de calme et de verdure, en particulier avec des enfants. Nous remercions aussi le propriétaire, qui s'est montré particulièrement arrangeant et confiant, ce qui est très agréable.

Agréable séjour au gites des grands chemins

Gites très fonctionnel et bien équipé. Idéalement situé avec piscine partagée avec un autre gîte. Nombreux sites à visiter aux alentours. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires et le petit plus le bouquet de fleurs sur la table à notre arrivée.

Een prachtige locatie! Rust, alle benodigdheden en een superfijn zwembad. Ook met kleine kinderen is het een geschikt huis vanwege het omheinde zwembad en het omheinde terras.

Je recommande vivement ce petit paradis, pour son calme, le cadre, la piscine est top, tout y est jusqu'à la balle ping pong, M. Delpit est très disponible si besoin. Une vraie bulle de dépaysement idéalement située, je reviendrai !
