The property is located reasonably close to the airport and the down town. There was a high pitched noise in our room that woke us up early morning, thought it was an alarm of some sort turn out it was from the pipes when people showered next door. Also, noise from the halls and other rooms are quite noticeable, we did not get a good sleep.

I liked that it's one of the near Austin downtown hotels that does not charge for parking. There was a lot of parking and felt safe. The hotel was okay, not sure I'd stay again, I rather have a brighter lighting hotel. The hotel halls and room were super dark. The bathroom mirror was super low, I had to bend down to fix my hair. The room had a full length mirror, but no lighting so was pointless. Good price, safe and decent location near downtown but not sure I'd stay here again, I'd spend more for a more comfortable and well lit hotel.

Good hotel - pros and cons Pros Nice pool, spa, gym, rooms were good size, comfy beds and pillows. Can walk to city (about 1 hour) and Uber to city is reasonable. Really nice all you can eat Japanese restaurant attached. Checkout time great Cons The room we stayed at was the furthest from the lobby and with heavy bags wasn’t fun. Breakfast options limited with odd options and not as good as reviews suggest. My son wouldn’t eat it unfortunately.

Groovy hotel with Sushi!

Groovy refurb on an older hotel! Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean/well maintained. The pool courtyard is clearly setup for a warm weather fiesta. Checking was smooth and Nicholas was friendly and quick with the process and offered a free upgrade. They have a new sushi joint operating in their restaurant space which was very good and managed to provide a late dinner the night we arrived.
