Owner last minute cancelled

Owner cancelled our reservation the day we were about to check in. Funny how a guest cannot cancel and just loses the money they paid for the unit, but the owner can cancel and your just SOL with no place to stay and then I am scrambling trying to find another place to stay at the last minute. Not cool at all!!!!! It appeared to be a nice place, but I cannot give it a good rating.
