Nice room and facilities. Staff was non responsive - had to call 3 times for fresh towels , waited hours (until almost 6pm) for the room to be made up on the second day and couldn’t get room service on the phone.

This is a beautiful hotel with a friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a welcoming atmosphere. There is a bar and restaurant on site and the bar was quite lively for a Monday night when we arrived. Our room featured a large soaking tub, tons of space, and spectacular views of the Texas Hill Country. Would highly recommend Hotel Viata to anyone staying in the Austin area.

The front desk clerk, Victoria, always appeared cheerful. My room keys were ready for me in an instant. The maitre d, Carlton (I hope that I spelled his name right), was enthusiastic and helpful.

The staff here is excellent- We got a room upgrade and it was so spacious! The pool and hot tub are so clean and the surroundings are lovely and tranquil. The food in the restaurant is excellent! Highly recommend!

Room was nice but ligting throughout was dark. Restaurant was limited in selections and had to send my pesto back. The bucatini was not fresh and drenched in sauce. The staff was kind. Breakfast service had the server's kids at a table by themselves while she worked. Noticeable due to the low customer count and the child clanking dishes and silverware from neighboring tables. Probably still out on Christmas break. Location was not ideal for us but not the property's fault. I would have preferred someplace with walkable venues.

Everything was good but the spa experience was extremely disappointed. The charged was excessive and poorly explained. We ended up paying usd300 for a hotel drothermal experience in a small bathtub were we could not fit at the same time and it was 45 minutes. It was a joke. Also the steam room was broken and only worked at 6.49pm and the spa amenities were closed at 7pm We chose this hotel to have a spa experience and we end up giving away 300 for nothing

Stains on carpet. Check in didn’t go well. The front desk lady was unfriendly. I left my wallet at home and did not have my ID. She did not offer ideas to solve this problem. Just kept telling me that I couldn’t check in. I went outside to get my husbands ID (my idea). When I returned she said my would have to come in. He is handicapped and has mobility issue. She insisted that she had to see him right then.
