We have never experienced such poor room cleaning service at any Hyatt before this. We stayed at this hotel for six days. Checked in on Tuesday. No room cleaning on Wednesday. Talked to a Spanish speaking lady on Wed through Google translator. Requested service. She only took trash out and put three towels on the pottie! Novacuuming, no making beds, no changing towels, no refurbishing coffee. Thursday AM we requested full service; desk clerk confirmed it. At 11:30 we reconfirm ed it but no service till 6 pm when we came back. Too late. Thursday we were promised “star” service. A little better; but used same bedsheets, coffee not replenished, two wet face towels left in bathroom. We requested Expedia earlier check out on Saturday but we were denied refund if we checked out. No complimentary water bottles when checked in; next day, another couple checking in was given two bottles readily. I am suspecting we got poor service because we booked through Expedia.

Liked the hotel. If advertising as a game day hotel and rooms are available, don’t try to charge $40 to check in “early” when guests are clearly just dropping off bags and heading to the game. Clark eventually waived it but that kind of nickle and diming is off putting. Prefer others hotels that are sometimes priced higher but would definitely stay here again if the price is right.

The staff were excellent and all so friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable. The valet parking was quick and easy. The only problems we had with our stay was that some of the power outlets in the room didn’t work and the toilet was very slow to drain.

Upon arrival after a 3hr drive from Houston after a long work day I was given a room and key access to a room that was already occupied by another guest. The guest was performing inappropriate activities that honestly left me a little traumatized. So I rushed down to the lobby and apparently my room was given to a Bryan spelled with a I and not Y earlier that evening. Took about another 2 hrs just to get the situation situated and to find another room for me. was told it happens more than I can imagine. I have traveled and been to countless amounts of hotels and never had this kind of situation happen to me.

We really enjoyed our stay. The rotating breakfast options were a huge plus, had a great variety each day with plenty of high-carb and healthy choices, which was perfect for our fitness competition. There was also lots of space to sit and eat comfortably. The location was convenient, and we realized it was only a short walk to the busy nightlife. However, it didn’t feel like the safest area to walk back from bars alone or without a larger group. Our room was great, spacious, clean, and we appreciated having a small kitchen with a microwave, sink, and fridge. The only downside was parking. We had to choose between valet or feeding street meters. They were fast to bring car around when we needed it. Other than that, it was a solid stay.
