First room we got smelled horrible so we asked to move rooms. Staff was friendly and quickly accommodated. The next room was much better and fairly clean. Lots of dust on the drapes however and the sheets were very rough and uncomfortable. Otherwise, not a bad hotel.
I went and dropped my stuff in my room after checking in. I needed to run an errand and upon closing my door realized that it doesn't latch/lock. You didn't even need to use the handle. You could push the door open with your hand. They were great about getting me a new room. My second room was Hot! I didn't say anything because I brought a fan. Overall the hotel is just okay. It's not well cared for. In both the rooms there were lights out and damaged furniture. It was fine for a night, but won't be back. The good things are that the staff is friendly and it's a convenient location.
felt extremely uncomfortable as soon as we stepped foot into the building. multiple men just staring, and after arriving at 5pm (check in is at 3pm) we tried to check in and before i could even give my name, they had to “make sure the room was clean”. waited 15 minutes for them to come back and just hand us a room key without asking for any of my information. we ended up leaving early because we were so uncomfortable.
Didn't like that there are multiple La Quinta's in the area and there was no clear distinction on which is which. Ended up Ubering to the wrong site. Just need clear designations/names. Also wasn't near any restaurants.
