Our stay was two nights and overall the room seemed clean. It was when I cleaned the kitchen floor upon our check out. My cleaning rag was black! The floor looked clean but was not. The outdoor patio furniture was full of pet hair. The place had minor issues and seemed to be neglected. Such as, no hot water in kitchen, bathtub did not hold water, the toilet barely flushed and it took a long time to fill up again, clothes iron broken on its surface and snagged my clothes, several lightbulbs burnt out and the toaster did not work. On the other hand, the host was helpful and on top of any concerns we had. Response time was fast. The view was lovely and the pool was great! The sunset was breathtaking! Gym was fantastic and the staff on property were very friendly.

The condo was acceptable. However, the indoor pool and hot tub were out of service and apparently have been for some time (according to residents we spoke with). These had been a deciding factor for us. We probably would have chosen somewhere else had we known. We also had trouble getting the wi fi connected. I wrote the host to get guidance but never heard back. We won't choose this location again.

The pool was amazing! Room is a little dated and could use more bath towels in the bathroom.Overall stay was very nice. Loved walking around the property and the quietness. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The island is beautiful and we had a great stay overall! We loved being on the lake and close to natural beauty. The restaurant/bar and pool are very fun. I was a little frustrated that we do not get all the details for entering the gate, parking, etc, and had to get a hold of the host to get all that but she was available and responsive. It would have been super helpful if there was 24 hour notice with all that. The unit is clean and basics were good for cost. We would love to return and stay in another unit on the property for a little more money. Some of the areas need repair/updating but great for the money! The Staff and guests were all very cool.

Very clean, well appointed condo located in a very old run down, mostly abandon complex that is located on the lake without access and off the main roadways. Not a Luxury Condo / Condo complex as listed. This listed view is from the bedroom, not the living room.

The unit we stayed in was very clean and was supplied with all the essentials. Gate and room access was seamless.The complex itself could definitely use a thorough cleaning (powerwash) and maintenance. The elevator close to our unit was out of service, the indoor hot tub was not available for use as it had not been cleaned and refilled.The outdoor pool and hot tub were very nice but there was an ant problem.

The property was well kept and very clean. We wish we had more time to stay, as we only got to enjoy one of many hottubs; but there is full exercise room and giftshop on property, along with a steakhouse, which is apparently closed Monday -Wednesday. The only thing that could have made it better would have been having more maps and directions of property posted. There is no evacuation plan posted anywhere, and its a guessing game as to which elevator may be working.Our unit was fabulous. Very comfortable and layed back place to recoup. Looking forward to returning

Retirement Community & Way Past Its Prime!

Overall we had a okay weekend but definitely wouldn’t have booked here if we knew the things we know now. Trying to help the next person looking for a relaxing vacation. It’s not anything luxurious or even up to date. This place was in its prime 20 years ago. It’s also known to locals as the retirement community and that’s what we noticed. Dinner and karaoke at the island restaurant was 70 age and the food was way overpriced and barely decent. Our main elevator was out of service and the large main pool was completely drained.. the rest of the condos not occupied are rentals. Prime rentals for families with kids because of two pools advertised, so on our trip only one pool and it was packed with kids. Couldn’t even get a seat. Also not boat friendly unless you own a boat slip yearly at the marina. We brought our boat and had a horrible time trying to find accommodations to enjoy it while staying on the “island”.

Maybe this will help a future guest?

The view from the patio is 100% worth the stay. The unit itself is basic, with all necessities met. I stayed there on a me-cation with my dog. It more than sufficed for us :) Couple of details: Look at what days you’re staying vs the restaurant and spa hours. The closest place to eat is about 15 minutes away. Bring a sleeping eye mask if you are sensitive to light when you sleep. The view from the bedroom is fantastic but not the sun at 7am on vacation lolIf you are looking to enjoy walk-in access to the lake, the only public accessible area is Arkansas Bend (approx 17 minutes away). There is a 5 fee and zero shade at the lakes edge. Highly recommend some sort of shade cover.The place is wonderfully quiet and relaxing. The pools were great. The masseuse onsite was fantastic and professional.Overall, great stay!!!! Would happily stay again!!!

Vacation stay

Pics and listing need to be updated. No longer have table and chairs on the balcony. Living room furniture completely different and sofa bed broken. No jetted tub. We loved the old building. We could see the Colorado river…I think, from our bedroom balcony. Unfortunately they are experiencing a drought so most of the lakes and waterfront are dried up. We enjoyed dinner at the bar and grill onsite. Loved the swimming pool.
