The bay at Hamilton Cove does something to you - the way it opens up from the hillside, wide and unhurried, with the Pacific light shifting across it through the day. This is Catalina at its quietest and most rewarding: a one-bedroom villa perched above Avalon, an electric golf cart waiting at the door, and a schedule that answers only to the tides.
The space
The villa has a private entrance and comfortably accommodates up to four guests. Inside, the living area is easy to settle into - a flat-screen TV, board games, and ceiling and portable fans keep things comfortable. When the evenings cool down off the water, heating is available to take the edge off.
Sleeping arrangements
The bedroom holds two beds, made up with full bed linens, extra pillows, and blankets. Hangers, an iron, and all towels and toiletries are provided - there's no need to overpack.
Kitchen & dining
The full kitchen is set up for proper cooking. A refrigerator, freezer, oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, and coffee maker are all on hand - with coffee provided. Cooking basics, wine glasses, and barbecue utensils are stocked and ready. Sit down at the dining table inside, or take your meal out to the patio with the bay spread out in front of you.
Bathroom
One full bathroom with hot water, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and a hair dryer - fully stocked and nothing left out.
Outdoors & shared amenities
The shared patio opens onto sweeping bay views with a BBQ grill set up and ready to use. Pool and hot tub access are included for guests. When you head to the beach, the essentials are already packed for you: beach towels, an umbrella, a beach blanket, and snorkeling gear. A gym is also available on-site for guests keeping up a routine.
Getting around
The included electric golf cart is the right way to move around Avalon - relaxed, nimble, and in keeping with the island's pace. Free parking and an EV charger are on-site. The villa's waterfront position puts direct beach access within easy reach at any time.
Good to know
Exterior security cameras are in place at the front door and on the patio facing the ocean. A smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit are on the property. There is no carbon monoxide detector. Wi-Fi is included. A washer and air conditioning are not available at this property.
