We stayed 5 nights at La Paloma Las Flores and it was perfect. We had a patio and kitchen in our unit (#14) which was the plan so we could make our Thanksgiving dinner and enjoy on the patio. And during the day the patio was very relaxing to sit in the sun and zone out. Staff and Owner were a pleasure to talk to. Property is one block away from Vons, so super easy to pick up snacks/meals. Everything was clean and no issues. It was a wonderful place to stay for our family vacation.

The Staff was tremendous! They’re super friendly and they make sure you’re taken care of! The rooms were very clean and felt cozy, me and my girlfriend look forward to going back to Catalina and staying here again.

Funny, funky little joint run by nice people. Very clean. Well refurbished for the most part but, judging by the hardware, it was built in the 1920s or 30s and it’s age does show in things like plumbing and the fit of windows and doors. The former is easy enough to deal with unless you’re particularly fastidious and the latter won’t matter much for most of the year. It probably wouldn’t have been noticed if we hadn’t been staying there during a strong winter storm. Under those conditions, the wind did come whistling through the cracks. Other than that, though, I would definitely recommend this place.

La Paloma is our go to home away from home and always will be. The rooms are perfect for both short and long vacations. Love the full kitchens and the cozy garden vibes. The staff always treats us feel like family. 10/10

We really like most aspects of the property. We had a spacious room and easy access to restaurants, etc. However unit B that we were in has one very unredeemable feature. If you have loud upstairs neighbors (we had a couple of parents and their kids who sounded like they were doing gymnastics on our ceiling multiple times during the night and early morning. I tried asking them if they could be less noisy to no avail. Apparently parents can’t request or teach their kids to be less noisy these days. It made our Thanksgiving weekend less fun overall. If you stay here don’t stay in a unit with anyone above you such as units A and B. Otherwise a great hotel.

Amazing hotel on the island, great place to stay, super friend staff. Perfect for the two of us. The island itself is tiny so everything's in walking distance from the hotel. We had no trouble going to the shops and experiences around the island. We would go do a tour then go back to the hotel and walk around the island. For us it was perfect! Definetely going to come back and stay here.

We found La Paloma Las Flores to be a charming, quiet place to stay. It's a bit of a walk uphill to get there from the waterfront, but it is very close to Vons and my husband (who has difficulty walking any distance) was able to use the local "Circuit" to get around for $4 per ride - and they pick you up and drop you where you want! The host was very accommodating to our needs.

This hotel/apartment complex has so much character. We loved the plants, decorations, walkways and even all the stairs. Our room had a great view of the mountains and sea and was clean/nice and quiet. It was nice having a kitchen to make breakfast every morning. Hosts were very friendly. It was perfect for us but for those guests wanting a luxury hotel look elsewhere.

This place has so much character and charm. We loved every aspect of our trip. We messaged the office from this app after hours and the staff was at our door within minutes of us needing assistance. Staff was Kind and responsive, environment was welcoming and unique.
