This large and prestigious Kinnakeet Shores house is located directly across from the Club Hatteras pool and is a short walk to the Avon Fishing Pier. On top of that, your home away from home boasts a plethora of renovations such as all top-floor decks being redone in 2023. Improvements for 2024 include streaming services being available on all TVs, new carpet throughout, as well as the top-floor living room, kitchen, and dining area all having entirely new floors.

The first level has oceanside decking to take advantage of the gorgeous views. The second-story great room with tall cathedral ceilings is a perfect location to begin and end every delightful beach day. The well-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar and great access to the dining area, screened porch, and southern sun deck. The living area has warm furnishings and access to sun decks. After a day of windsurfing, swimming, or fishing, relax in the private hot tub on the screened porch.

Overall, it was a good experience. The beach was a short walk which was great. The house was clean except for some sand in one of the bedrooms but the carpet was the same color so it could’ve been easily missed. No big deal. The only flaw with the house is that there are lots of stairs and the main living area/kitchen is on the top floor. Overall, I would stay there again

Exactly as advertised

Great house for a good price. Only problem was the router wasn't working for the first day, but it was fixed the next morning. Good communication from the property management during that issue. Community pool was nice although only accessible for the last few days of the trip because it was early in the season. Beach access is as good as possible without being directly beachfront, it's a 1 minute walk total to get to the beach. The bathrooms can occasionally be a problem but luckily the upstairs suite bathroom also opens to the common area so there are effectively 2 shared bathrooms.

Great location but very dated

Great location to the beach. Not clean upon arrival. Very dated and carpet was rough looking. Only two burners worked on the stove. Terrible bathrooms and kitchen.

House is in a great location, and we enjoyed the stay. Definitely would stay there again.

The rental process was simple and easy. The “Hospitality App” was very beneficial. Only issue was we never received the email with the keyless code, so had to work through the after hours support team to get the code. Not a big deal.

Did not have a good time.

Was only there from 4:30 pm on Sunday 9/24/17 to 1:00 on 9/25/17 island had mandatory evacuation. The realty called us on 9/28/17 @5 pm to let us know we could get back on the island. We are 6 hours and 10 min. away. We would have left on 9/29/17 and been on road all day. Would have only had one day left on the island. We will not be back there at all was a waste of our time and money. Sad part is we will be lucky to get any back. It was not out fault. Would have been nice if they would have let us come back and stayed longer. One day is not long enough for that long drive.
