From November 1 to April 1, police and gendarmerie regularly check that each vehicle is equipped with snow chains or socks. Even if there is no snow, these must at least be present in the vehicle. In case of snowfall or snow-covered roads, they must be fitted to the tires. This is a legal requirement, essential for safe access to the resort.
