OVERVIEW
Located on the border between Spain and Portugal within Costa Esuri adjacent to the Guadiana River and the Costa de la Luz.
This modern and attractive top floor two bed apartment boasts panoramic views across local countryside towards the Guadiana river and Portugal beyond. The vista provides uninterrupted views of spectacular sunsets which often occur in this part of the world. On a clear night, spectacular uninterrupted views of the night sky are available, which are simply amazing.
FACILITIES
The apartment has all you need for a wonderful stay with a fully appointed kitchen for food preparation and dining. There are sun loungers and sun chairs provided to enjoy the outside areas and laundry facilities for your convenience.
For dining out, the local town of Ayamonte provides a vast array of traditional and contemporary restaurants to cater for all palates, and if you prefer Portuguese cuisine you can hop across the bridge within minutes to Catro Marim, Villa Real de San Antionio, or Monte Gordo to name but a few.
BEACHES
The property is ideally situated to explore local towns and villages in both Spain and Portugal, along with access to many fantastic and unspoilt beaches being only a relatively short drive to wonderful locations such as Isla Canela, Monte Gordo, or Pria Verde to name but a few.
WATERPARKS
If the beach does not appeal to you, there are many water parks and facilities in the region with can provide a fun filled alternative especially for the younger family members and are generally within 30 to 45 minute drive (NOTE: These are usually seasonal and during the summer months only).
GOLF
Golf enthusiasts can choose from a wide range of courses catering for every level of expertise and challenge, not to mention our wonderful local facilities at Valle Guadiana Links Golf Club.
LOCAL INTEREST
For those with an interest in history, there are also many interesting local artefacts to visit in the region such as Fort São Sebastião located at Castro Marim, just across the river Guadiana, or La Torre-La Janera megalithic site between Ayamonte and Villablanca. These are just a few of many places to explore.
THE PROPERTY
The property has a large wrap around balcony of forty square metres which is perfect for sunbathing, relaxing, socialising and dining.
A dedicated parking spot is provided with the property, and additional visitor parking spots are also available (but not guaranteed).
Part of the balcony area is furnished with retractable awnings so you can shade from the sunlight on sunny days.
Additionally, there is a large private roof terrace accessed by a spiral staircase located at the end of the balcony.
The apartment is served by air conditioning and heating, with a remote controlled flame effect fire in the lounge area should it be required in the cooler months. There are also oil filled radiators available in the bedrooms should they be required.
The apartment is accessed by lift or stairs from the ground floor, and after entering through the front door into a small hallway with table which then opens up to the main living area. There is a reclining arm chair to relax in whilst reading or watching television along with a large and comfortable sofa which is easily converted to another double bed if required.
The living area also has a folding solid wood table with 4 chairs should you choose not to use the external or kitchen tables and chairs.
Also accessed from the hallway through a half glazed door is a modern and well appointed kitchen with built in oven, microwave and 12 place dishwasher, along with a freestanding fridge freezer. An extendable table with 6 chairs allows for eating and socialising separate from the lounge area.
From the kitchen you can access the laundry area where a washing machine is located along with cleaning and ironing facilities.
All rooms have direct access to the large 40 square metre wraparound balcony.
The main bedroom has a double bed with en-suite facilities to include a bath with shower over, whilst the second bedroom consists of two single beds with access across the hall to the shower room.
As all rooms access the large balcony, this provides a bright and airy feel to the apartment when opened up, but if the weather is too hot, there are roller shutters and louvered doors to keep it cool in shade if required.
