Large comfortable rooms, free parking, tea/coffee in the rooms and a nice breakfast in the morning. Central Baarlo is a 10 minute walk away and has restaurants. A pleasant place to stay.

Comfortable and quiet

Communication from the start was excellent. A couple days before arrival I received contact to enquire about arrival time. As we would be arriving late we were advised how to get our key, with full directions and pictures to make it easy to arrive without disturbing others. When we got into the room, it was lovely and thoughtfully put together, however there were no towels at all - a quick message later and this was resolved with profuse apologies (& and extra little packets of nougat!) The room was large and comfortable, love the modern style within the traditional barn type building. Kettle and mini fridge were provided in room, along with tea & coffee (no milk though) as well as a mini bottle of wine and welcome nougat pieces - very thoughtful and kind. Bed really comfortable and room dark and quiet - excellent. Breakfast was quite basic but had cereal, bread, cheese/ham and some fruits. The owner was on hand to welcome everyone in and kept items restocked and tidy throughout. She was really friendly and helpful upon check-out, apologising for the building work going on around - they are expanding with extra holiday homes as well as an on-site restaurant. Overall lovely stay for a night as we passed through.

Freundliche Begrüßung durch die Besitzerin, hat Kaffe und Tee angeboten und sich ein paar Minuten für uns Zeit genommen. Dann hat sie sie uns persönlich zum Zimmer gebraucht. Zimmer war schön eingerichtet, hatte passende Größe und war sauber. Frühstück durch den Besitzer . Auch hier ein paar Minuten Zeit für Smalltalk. Alles in allem sehr freundliche Eigentümer. Frühstück war sehr vielfältig. Für jeden etwas dabei. Wir waren super zufrieden.

Ok, Frühstück könnte besser sein

War ok. 1.) super netter Empfang 2.) Zimmer nett/gemütlich gestaltet, aber nicht alles super intakt 3.) gefühlt ist es ein altes Bauernhaus was umgestaltet wird. Entweder haben die Deutschen ein besseres Geschick für den Handwerk oder nur ein empfindliches Auge.. 4.) war wirklich enttäuschend. Dunkler Raum, keine warmen Speisen, also kein Rührei, keine Spiegeleier. Es gab nur Filterkaffee, für ein Käse Land, hätte ich mir besseren Käse und mehr Vielfalt gewünscht. Generell ist das Frühstück ausbaufähig. 5.) wenn man im dunkeln anreist, dann unbedingt genau auf die Einfahrt achten, da alles dunkel ist und das Hotel nicht beleuchtet ist
