I loved this hotel. This was my 3rd time in Bacalar and so far is the best hotel that I have stayed so far. I travel a lot for work and pleasure. This have a great vibe excellent staff. A big plus is their restaurant who had Henry who had an excellent service he brought a lot of value to the service in the hotel and the restaurant. I would say that only details for me was the WiFi, that connection was weak and for a minute when I what to check their tv it was not connection. More pressure on the head shower would be a great. I still give a 5 start because that staff tried to provided help with great attention.

Beautiful lagoon location, and communal space for sitting. The deluxe garden room is quite small, and not really a garden room - you look onto the communal pathway, so there’s no view to look at / you need the curtains closed if in your room. I would recommend staying in a room with a view. Lunch options were delicious, especially the vegetarian burger. But the restaurant overall, and especially the breakfast is very overpriced. Water is also not free, which I think is quite poor for such a high quality hotel. Though they do leave you one bottle of water in the room per day. Getting taxis to and back from the town is pretty easy - all taxi drivers tried to charge us more than we were told to pay, so just beware of that and push back.

Beautiful location right by the lagoon. Staff so friendly and helpful. Quiet location, a bit remote. Lots of parking. Restaurant doesn't provide the right food for a hotel at this level in my opinion. It's very expensive and crazy fancy, just look at the menu descriptions! We only had the burgercat lunch which was fine but overpriced. No way we would eat there in the evening though, far too fancy and expensive so we had to drive into the town every evening which was a shame

This place is gorgeous and just 5 min cab ride from town. The staff was lovely and anxious to be useful. The location and design is chic bohemian. There is a restaurant and little bar on sight. Location is right on the lagoon with steps and a swing set right into the lagoon. There is a gazebo at the end of the dock. Kayaks and yoga mats available for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Necesitan repensar en las condiciones de confort y diseño de las habitaciones. Si bien cuentan con A/C , los WC y Regaderas no cuentan con ningun tipo de ventilacion. Eso resulta en mal olor y humedad constante. Tambien sería deseable algunas comodas o espacios para acomodar ropa de viaje. El closet es insuficiente ya que tampoco tiene subdivisión utiles. Un sillon y una mesa de servicio también serian un plus. En general es un lindo rincon donde disfrutar de la laguna. El personal es excepcional!! Gracias a todos!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. We spent three nights here after a last-minute booking (when our previous accommodation didn’t meet expectations), and we couldn’t be happier that things turned out this way — it truly exceeded all our expectations. Despite the short notice, everything was perfectly prepared when we arrived, which was such a relief. From the very first moment to the last, the experience was a clear 5/5. The hotel itself is stunning, with a modern design, tasteful interiors, and a lovely view overlooking the pier. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, offering a personal touch without ever being intrusive. The restaurant deserves a special mention. Although we usually enjoy trying different places, the combination of a beautiful setting, breathtaking views, and outstanding food meant we chose to eat all our meals there throughout our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Daniel for taking such great care of us and making our stay extra special, and to Angel, the chef, for the amazing food and warm hospitality. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return.
