Dinner took longer than should but guess they were just busy with the slightly bigger group dining. Love the hotel! Area is quite, hotel is modern even though in a castle.. it’s just beautiful

An amazing Hotel.... a MUST for anyone!

We don't know quite where to begin… we wanted a quiet, romantic dinner and an overnight stay, this marvellous hotel ticked ALL the boxes and so much more. We loved every moment. The staff were attentive, but not intrusive. The hotel is modern in every way, has been decorated to a high Standard. Very tasteful and elegant, with some surprising modern touches. We had an amazing room, with a stunning view over the valley. The weather did not play along and it rained throughout our stay, so we stayed indoors. We didn't complain. We enjoyed an afternoon coffee and waffles /cake in the Dining room. The evening meal was superb, and we loved it. A small menu, but the selections we made, were perfect. Beautifully presented and delicious. It was a perfect Dining experience. The room, was so comfortable, with all sorts of extras and good use of Technology. We particularly liked the automatic, sensor night light that came on, when one climbed out of bed. All in all, a Wonderful Oasis of calm, good design and taste in a Pretty Village. We will be visiting again. Recommended to anyone, without Reservation or hesitation. Just go, you will love it!
